Did they change the size of the machine or just the color please?

I believe the size of the machine is the same as the old one, but I don't have the old P6 to know for sure. You can look at all of the dimensions on the product page and compare them if you have the old machine. Here's a link to the product shrsl.com/3uji2 The new machine comes with the universal plate system which allows for more sandwich configurations for better results when die cutting and embossing. The old machine did not come with the universal plate system since the system just released a few months ago. The plates are longer than the old ones which allow you to work with longer and dies and embossing folders.
