Finally got to make the Wrio Freeze team work. I had to be creative in breaking the Cryo shield using freeze in 12-3.

I thought using anemo infusion for shield breaking is common sense.

​@@None38389 i thought so too. A lot of early players back in 2020 and early 2021 always use sucrose for shield breaking so i thought it was a common thing to do too.

Love to see some wrio fr fr!!,, question tho I usually run my wrio freeze team with venti since he’s wielding elegy, and i see you have both venti and elegy! So i wanted to ask if you think kazu does make a significant enough improvement to be worth pulling for him :o Been on the fence about pulling for him ever since i started playing freeze wrio and seeing this run makes him look so appealing😭

I was in the same situation as you. I skipped out on Kazuha on his first banner, and lost 50/50 on his rerun. So I got stuck with Venti. I only got Kazuha last year and oh boy was he a huge upgrade over Venti. The ease of use, reliable grouping, easier swirls and buffs just makes him better most of the time. His ulti is very versatile too as you can see in the 12-3 second half run. For sure significant enough for pulling.

I think Crimson Moon R1 is still better, but not by that much. I highly recommend just going for C1 since the weapon banner is a scam and its a bigger dmg increase than R1 from what I remember.

Wrio is so bad at breaking shield. I can't 3 star with that 3 elements shield guy

If you're using a freeze team like me, a well-timed Kazuha or Sucrose ult (right before the pyro shield goes away so that they can absorb it) can help with that. Zhongli can also be a good substitute too. His hold E and burst should break most of the shields.
