Hose cork scraps would have been perfect for bookmarks. Stick on scrap paper, make a hole and attach a twine piece to the hole.

Welcome Spring and be thankful for what life brings. Have you heard the regular Dollar Tree prices are now $2 in Canada? Some food items may even be cheaper at wal mart. I hope this increase goes to employee wages. If items remain the same, I wonder where the profit goes! Not such great deals anymore. Two dollar items will multiply quickly.

That makes me laugh. Ready for warm weather. It’s snowing in this east and north east and it’s supposed to snow here in Washington state tomorrow. Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and there have been many times that my husband and I delivered flowers for the flower shop. My mom used to work for, in the snow. Or it was snowing. We have been going to Las Vegas for the NASCAR race in February since 2005 and I have to say I couldn’t count how many times we have left in the snow and we don’t even get much snow here. But for some reason February likes to give us one last coat of white. But the funny thing is is when we come back it’s the end of the first week of March and about a week later I get things popping out of the ground. I’ve got to feel the warmth. I know spring is coming but I’m just not feeling it right now no matter how much spring stuff I look at. But that being said you have to be one step ahead. You don’t go oh it’s spring now I’m gonna make spring stuff because summer is coming right around the corner. I guess I’m just not into it like I wasn’t into Christmas. I know it’s coming, but I’m just not there. However, I was talking to my mom about making some mayday baskets. She always used to come to my house while I was at work and put some thing on my door and I’m excited to do a made a basket with her. I’m not sure how many were going to make but it’s going to be fun.
