Hi sweet Amy - what I like the best was your table. I love the simplicity of it and I loved the centerpiece. I always have jellybeans around my house at Easter. Sometimes they temp me too much though. At Christmas I had Hershey’s kisses in Christmas colors around the house and I could not keep out of them. I’ve had a great week. Rachel came and spent the day one day. We’re working on a jigsaw puzzle that we started Thanksgiving. We always start one every Thanksgiving and hope to finish it up by the first of the year but this one has been especially difficult. Then she helped me do some things around the house that are hard for me to do. She thought she needed to go check on her dogs so we went and did that and got a milkshake on the way back. I need to quit indulging so much. I have gone to water aerobics all week so maybe that will help. Ha ha. Love in Christ

Hi Amy, your decorating videos are so inspirational and calming. I particularly enjoyed this one because it's the first time I'm noticing that the layout of your kitchen is very similar to mine. Mine does not have an island but now I'm wondering how one might look. And I especially love how you have the table, I have always struggled with where/how to arrange our table in the back end of the kitchen, mainly because of the double doors leading to the deck (same as yours). I never thought to turn it how you have and pull away from the wall, I am going to try that!! That would also open up the wall to the left for a nice coffee bar station, storage unit/shelves like you have. I'm so excited to see how your furniture placements might work in my kitchen 🙂
