New Staggered Wheel & Tire Setup (How To Get the Right Tire Profile) - TIPS05E47

So after doing the White on White theme on the 2000 SVT Lightning I wanted to go back to the original look of my 1991 DECH Coupe with the white centered ROH ZS wheels. This time I managed to score a rare set of staggered ZS wheels in 8.5 front and 9.5 rear (17inch). So I went through some math on Tire Profiling to make sure I could achieve the stance I wanted.

I think you’re doing your math wrong. A 245/45/17 is 25.5 inches tall. According to your math, you’d have a 21.4 inch tire. (17 inch wheel+2.17+2.17). You shouldn’t divide you’re sidewall by 2. Your differences would actually be double

Being honest, before the white notch did nothing for me because in my opinion the wheel color and fit were all wrong for it. But now it looks absolutely killer!!! Color, fit, tire sizes, stance are all on the money. I bet it looks amazing in person. I’m still firmly stuck in the 90’s for how I like these cars set up so I’m loving the white on white.

94-95, and 98 for a yellow Saleen SN95. No yellow 96 or 97. Saleen also did white wheels.

@@TheInfamousProject there’s a good reason I know this. Ford offered Canary yellow in 94-95 and dropped it in 96 and 97. They then brought it back in 98 as Chrome Yellow. The reason I know all this is because 98 was the only year you could get a SN95 S281 in yellow, and I owned 1 of the 8 S281 Cobras in chrome yellow and mine had yellow wheels.
