I remember you mentioning that you liked how ahsoka held her saber in the 2008 movie which was released the same year as THIS. Both anakin and vaders apprentices had backwards grips on their sabers!

If you liked Mass Effect and are still in your Star Wars era, I would definitely suggest you check out Knights of the Old Republic, which is what BioWare did before the first Mass Effect. It is considered one of the best Star Wars games (as well as the sequel).

Yes though it's important to mention that the sequel was made by obsidian, which is also considered to be the better kotor game between the two by a lot of people including myself.

This game is a blast, it’s basically God of War but God of Force instead, you’ll love it for sure. I think every Star Wars fan ends up with a favorite random Jedi, mine is Rahm Kota.

This and 2 are two games that use the Euphoria engine as a physics engine, the same engine used for the physics of GTA, the first to use it was GTA 4 and now all Rockstar games use it.

She is considered one of the biggest Canon romances by a lot of the fandom. I was a Tali boy myself, but upon playing Legendary Edition after not touching any ME games for YEARS- Liara just seemed like a fun, natural choice.

Aw, man this game's a classic! One of the best Star Wars games out there; I'm sure you'll have a great time playing it! If you're looking for other Star Wars titles, I would personally recommend Republic Commando. A relatively short, but exciting and unique game in the Star Wars library

Force Unleashed games are awesome. Glad you're checking them out. Along with the KotOR games, they're arguably some of the best now non-canon/Legends/Expanded Universe Star Wars content. Absolutely please do a full playthrough of the first game at the very least.

I think some others have mentioned Sam Witwer here (the actor who did the motion-capture for Starkiller), and he's awesome - he grew up a huge Star Wars fan and this was his dream come true. He's been working with Lucasfilm ever since and you'll hear his voice in a lot of characters in both The Clone Wars and Rebels, and even here and there in the sequel trilogy and some of the live-action shows on Disney+. Guy is almost as close as you can get to George Lucas in his knowledge and understanding of Star Wars.

Nice! I remember having a lot of fun with this one! My favorite Star Wars games growing up were the Dark Forces series (Dark Forces, Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, and Jedi Knight: Outcast), but I’d rank this one as right up there with those 3! 😁

Sam Witwer as Starkiller and Matt Sloan as Vader are so awesome🔥 Matt Sloan should become the permanent Vader voice. Some people like Scott Lawrence but his voice isn't quite as menacing as Matt's. You can feel Vader's constant rage and anger with Matt.

When I played it for the first Time I was overwhelmed and happy that you could play on the Dark Side. It was also a lot of Fun taking out the annoying Wookies.

I remember playing this on gamecube and having the ability to collect hilts that you could customize your lightsaber with. I assume that was only in the gamecube version because I now have it on my xbox 360(yes I know I'm behind the times) and that isn't one of the collectibles. It's still an awesome game though and there's some sick DLC as well.

This game is one of the best Star Wars game out there, but I wish the official version was remastered with the graphics of the pc version, but with the PSP and Wii elements and story. To me it makes much more sense that in the first mission we get 501st clone troopers instead of stormtroopers given the timeline of the game...

When Vader realizes that this Jedi has a son, I believe in that moment he can't help but see what his life could have been if things had turned out differently. After all, at this point in time he is completely under the belief that he is responsible not only for Padme's death but the death of his unborn child... a daughter or son that he could have had. But the Dark Side being an all-corrupting force of evil, it twists Vader's selfless desire to have a family into selfish ambition to take this boy as his apprentice to overthrow his master. Vader knows that he can't take Sidious alone because of him being permanently crippled and in life support armor, so he sees this boy as his key to finally getting out from under the thumb of the Emperor.

Honestly, "canon" should only matter to the story tellers rather than the "listeners". For the rest of us, really, we should be open to whatever. It's all part of the story in one way or another, if you can implement the use of headcanon.

One day Starkiller will be canon. It will be easy to make him an inquisitor. I heard they originally did plan to do that.

Personally, I think people wouldn't have been happy since they'd have to have nerfed Starkiller pretty hard in order for him to fit into the scale of things in canon. That's why I'm kind of fine with this game being non-canon, as awesome as it is. Better to let a mad power fantasy (even by Star Wars standards) exist in Legends in my opinion, that's a better place for a character like this.

His actor is Sam Witwer and he’s the biggest Star Wars nerd ever and I love him. Star Wars used to be my Special Interest and my current SI is D&D and it turns out that his brother Michael Witwer is the biggest D&D nerd who writes D&D art books like Art and Arcana and the Legend of Drizzt Visual Dictionary. I honestly have my own theory that Vader protected Starkiller as a child bc Anakin saw what his future could have been. Seeing a jedi have a son, and teaching him in the ways of the force is kinda what Anakin wished he could have had with Padme and their children before his downfall. He probably sees Starkiller as a messed up replacement for what he could have had, a family. Its still vader though so he likely also targets Starkiller with a lot of projected anger as well from losing his family.

The Forced Unleashed is probably one, if not the best story based Star Wars games of all time. Set in the original canon timeline, before Disney created their own version of the Star Wars canon. I like to actually think TFU is a proper canon story right before Star Wars Episode IV.

I myself was brought up on the Wii version which was actually really cool with the Wiimote controlling the lightsaber moves and the nunchuck controlling the Force powers. The story is mostly the same but playing the Xbox version years later, I preferred the Wii gameplay tbh (not the graphics tho yeesh lol).

I think a good thing to have to understand what is and isnt canon is the book "Star Wars Timelines." Barring stuff released at and post publication date of the book; if its in that book then its canon

Unsure if you already said something about it, but SWTOR might just be right up your alley aswell. Its very similar to the other Bioware games (Mass Effect and Dragon Age), and although its an MMO, the main focus is definitely singleplayer and on the stories. And youd get to interact with the community in-game too. Its a bit stagnant now but there is tons of content (8 class stories + 6 expansions). But sadly, its content is also Legends like Force Unleashed.
