I don't know if this is true, but I think 1225's whistle was made of brass, as it was made before the United States went into ww2. Also the whistle you hear on 1225 IS 1225's whistle, not one of 765's old whistles. 1225's whistle when it was built was a Nathan 5 chime. 765's original whistle was a Nathan 6 chime.
