But you’re still using Cakewalk? That was my first DAW as well. And when I changed over to Reaper, the difference in audio quality was so apparent!

Yeah I am still going to use Cakewalk. For me to learn a new DAW would just be a waste of my time. I have too much work that goes on day-to-day to have to mess around with a new DAW. To tell you the truth, I don’t actually believe that one DAW truly sounds different from another. I think converter quality and plugins are the things that really matter. But hey if you like reaper better, then that’s what you should use no matter what

Thank you thank you, yeah this new set up has been something I really have needed to get done. Definitely don’t love having to reinstall all the software and what not, but it was definitely time ha ha. Thanks as always for watching

Thank you thank you, so I actually haven’t tested the clocks on any of these yet. I really just needed to finish up all my current studio projects so that I could even make this change. When I officially change it over, I’m gonna test out all three clocks to see which one I like best, and I will also make a video about it!!

I did not DIY my computer. Every other studio computer I have ever had, I built myself. This time around I was fortunate enough to know someone who can get me a great computer that I didn’t actually have to build. There will be a full video on exactly what is in this, coming up soon

Hello I’m mark. I have PA system for home I want to connect interface to mixer. So mic 🎤 go input dbx preamp 386 output preamp go into channel 1 mixer and direct channel 1 output trs cable go inputs channel 1 off behringer umc 404 hd and playback output trs cable go into Lin input channel 3 mixer. I do that way is right or wrong please help thank you 🙏

Yes I will be selling both SSL converters as well as the Madi card that goes with it. I do need to make sure my new system is 100% up and running first, but in about a month from now, I will definitely sell them

Yo Ryan, lookin good sir! I just bought my buddy in West Seneca a pair of Kali LP-6 Version 2 studio monitors. They are incredible for the price, $400 for the pair! I have the Genelec 1030a's and was hoping to get him a pair of those , but couldnt find a pair for under a grand. So glad though, I saved $600 and he still got a great pair of monitors. The Kali's are a STEAL!

Nice upgrade! Love to see how all the gear is going to be connected in the end. Still through the patchbays? And do you make any schematics for the connections layout?

Thank you thank you, so yes everything will still go through the existing patchbays, I do think I’ll have to add one more patchbay!! I do use an Excel spreadsheet to map out where all the gear will connect onto the patchbays. I hate those little small strips that you have to write on to label things. Either way, this will all be in the next few videos!!
