Regarding the fishing changes: Whole FISH most certainly can be used as bait & are now stackable to increase BAIT VALUE. It's just RAW FISH that's no longer bait. As per rust-reboot commit # 98077, several days before this video... From the commit: More fish bait value adjustments: Anchovy, herring and sardine bait value is now 2 and can be used in stacks of 2 (use 2x to reach 4 bait value) Small Trout, Yellow Perch bait value is now 5 and can be used in stacks of 2 (use 2x to reach 10 bait value) Catfish, Small shark, Salmon, Orange Roughy are now 10 bait value and limited to 1 stack Raw fish meat is still 0 bait value

Yeaaaah.. i love all the other changes but like hard disagree on this fishing change. Berries have another use, and this completely prevents one pathway of a wipe start, which just means less variety.

The electrical changes over the last few updates have been awesome. Didn't think fishing needed a change, though. Catch a fish, make it into the bait, rinse and repeat -- maybe they thought that cycle was too self-sufficient, or too safe? I admit, I've passed a few Rust days in the safe zone fishing.

@@Protoxic you're using outdated / incomplete information. Look at commit # 98077. WHOLE FISH have bait values and are stackable to increase them, just not RAW FISH. Surprised you missed it if you keep on top of the commits and frequents the rust dc dev chat.

Great update! Although i feel like increased build block was needed we already have little space to even build a base in a good spot because there are so many monuments and now that is reduced even further. Also the fishing change makes absolutely no sense. Using fish fro bait is how people do it irl...what was their thought process here?😂

It's outdated information based off an older commit. You just cannot gut and use RAW FISH as bait anymore, you can most definitely use ungutted fish and stack them to bait values that let you catch bigger ones at the risk of losing them.

aint that like the devs. we broke horses and cant figure out how to fix them so we will just add a feature we have refused to add for 4 years or so we can ignore the problem... maybe thats whats happenign i dont know or not yet lol just imagining it

Depends on server, there is no forced bp wipe from Rust devs. So monthly servers won't have a bp wipe in most cases.
