Every time I watch a video it brings me back to my days when I got my first pc it was a windows 98 pc that had 13 gigs of storage 250 megs of ram and I can't remember if it was intel or amd but I spent so many hours in my room where I built a fort for my bed playing age of empires 2 and jamming out to music. What a damn simple time I use to have in an Era that was dominate by windows xp and Vista. I think I may plan for my 2 weeks of paid vacation this year and search for old old pcs to fix up and resell to maybe make a few retro gamers and sleepers.

10:40. That is the exact same problem I had about 10 or 11 years ago with the exact same board. I was really happy to get what looked like a really high end board for next to nothing, paired with a reasonable CPU and my mate was even kind enough to lend me the DDR2 out of his own PC when he went to work! Sadly I too did not have switcher cards, and the board would not even post!

Oh didn't even know hd 6850 prototypes were out there, yeah i was thinking it was a HD 5770 or HD 5750 here with that eggshape cooler on there, had a xfx 5770 with that cooler and it eventually died out of nowhere for me after i benchmarked it one day after a good cleaning. Think that card with a better third party cooler 130w tdp or better cooling capacity would do good for games between 2004 - 2012 easily on the hd 6850 prototype with a fps limiter too say 75 if you got a screen with a 70hz refresh rate. Also that fatal1ty board, i didn't know they even sold one with his branding, I'd save that bios rom for sure if you can. I know they had headsets with his name on them from creative. (Were alright sounding, bit bass heavy & cable was garbage that broke within a year I'd say. Was a lottery if you got a working mic sometimes too i had 2 with broken mics out of the box before getting a third one that worked fine returning them.)
@Mini-z19945 жыл бұрын
Also just a few hours ago i got in a pc with a dead motherboard (The person knew my dad which ofc then spoke too me about fixing it up as it suddenly shut down on the bigger brother of the person who now got the pc.) B85 chipset I5 4440 motherboard was a bit of a mess, broken pins in the usb 3.0 header, some liquid damage ontop of that around the cpu socket which i cleaned off. (Sb light ticks off & on every few seconds, 0 response with new powersupply,ram,gpu & cleaning through it with chemically clean gasoline & screen cleaning wipes.) I5 4440 8 gb ddr3 which is relatively good still for a entry level gaming pc.GPU is the 2011 monster from AMD a HD 6990 at 305 mm long it's a pretty cool pcb, did get too peel the plastic off as i noticed it taking an earlier picture of it that it looked off around the asus logo on it. The HD 6990 was very much in need of a cleaning & fresh thermalpaste before i put any 3d load on it which I'll continue tomorrow. Setting up my test system for tonight with my slowpoke aka test gpu a asus 8500 gt 512 mb. (It overclocks really well for a 8500 gt but its a 8500 gt so it doesn't mean much ahah ^^ 730 mhz core & 420 mhz memory, think shader clock was past 1600 mhz with an accelero l2 on it.) pcb of it here as I'm working on the cooler atm. Somewhat crappy pcb shot with my old android phone a huawei p9 puu.sh/EWr2n/3596ed9998.jpg Couldn't fit it in my main pc here or my dads pc that i got here atm so i built a socket 775 system for now too test it on a kitchen chair lol. Copper slug cooler & the core 2 duo e8400 with my 4 gb kit of ocz reaper 1066 mhz ram running at 800 mhz for now, didnt want too bother with setting up timings & voltage tweaks so left it at 800 mhz & voltage too them at 1.9v. It won't be able too stretch it's legs for sure in newer benchmarks & games other then perhaps my own pc with a I5 2500 @ 3.9 ghzBut at least I'll be able too test it in that system once I've put it together again properly & can return it in good shape too its owner rather then leaving it dusty & having it die early on them it will work hard in non crossfire probably most of the time.(Because crossfire support is ofc awful even on this generation of gpu's.) (I kind of want too keep this just because it's such a ridiculously large card & a much faster sibling too my old hd 6870 ofc. It's a really cool showpiece too have for sure too ofc. But unfortunately they'll probably want it back due too them needing a graphics card for now that plays relatively modern games, recommended them too get a am4 system & put together a dirt cheap bunch of components. (ryzen 5 2600 non x 2x4 gb sticks of 2666 mhz ram & B450 motherboard it was about 260€ out of i think 288€ (3000 sek budget too fix a gaming pc for them using most of the hardware from the old one.)

Amazing hardware collection, but the videos ... they lack dynamism, you need a script to make it more entertaining to watch. I dont want to sound disrespectful ... just a tip.

Np thanks for feedback. This is thing for one million dollar "make it more entertaining to watch" :-) Tell me more about way ho to do it and me or any xxx video creators will get 10M views for one video. Back to reality.: I can keep this way (not best). Some creators are more crazy with crazy edit and you can read comments like "you are to much crazy, your edit is funky". Simply I(or anybody) can‘t make videos for 100% people.
