It is because we got lucky with leadership that liberated Rwanda. They fought and died because they believed we could do better. Thank God forgiving the long lives to see that brothers and sisters of ours who died didn't die in vain.

@Kofi Sam yes they are designed to a better standard than Nigeria too. I said Ghana as I live in Ghana and have been for the last 11yrs. Your defensive undertone suggests to me you are being oversensitive and maybe suggesting I'm being biased. We'll let me tell you I am the least biased Person you will find, as I am a pan Africanist. I was also born and raised in the UK, with no particular allegiance to any one individual African country. So please stop being oversensitive and over emotional. We have to learn to take constructive criticism without getting upset ... man up!
@kehindeemiabata4032
@kehindeemiabata4032 4 жыл бұрын
@Kofi Sam As I said before Kofi. You automatically made the assumption that I was denegrading Ghana. That says more about you and your insecurities than me. If I'm making a genuine observation from what I have seen, I don't see why you should get so defensive. Stop being trabalistic! It doesn't do anything for the future of Africa. The reason I made the comparison to Ghana is because I live in Ghana and I know Ghana. Furthermore try and find out if the person your preaching to is a believer before you waste your time preaching.... again your making assumptions! You need to travel more and you may find out that not everybody is religious and tribalistic

@mopride7249
@mopride7249 4 жыл бұрын
Yes and No. YES it’s possible but the rates are so high and not worth it tbh No because when they do offer mortgages to diasporans especially those remaining abroad, they are usually direct descendants of the country where the ‘ID checks’ are confirmation letters from your village/parents village/ancestral village chief.

I was in Kigali this time last year with the intent to live there and coincidentally, Jackson showed me some houses available for rent. Zero of the homes that Jackson showed me looked anything like this, lol...none of the homes were to my standard to say the least. I was fortunate enough to be in contact with another real estate agent at the same time though, who had a much better understanding of what I was looking for. Jackson has either improved tremendously, my price range was too low, or he was just hiding the good stuff :)

I come from Ghana and I live in the states. Comparing the houses in Kigali to Ghana, I will say I will choose Kigali any day over Ghana. The houses are affordable. Home ownership is no longer a dream but a reality looking at the prices. These homes can be bought and paid for in 2- 5 years if you have a calculated plan . Plus the city is cleaner than Ghana. I tried purchasing a home in Ghana and looked at places like Haatso, Adenta , Oyibi and East Legon and they were too expensive. Also what got be angry and backed out of the deal was the houses in Ghana that are estates houses are lease hold. Which means they really come back after years to renegotiate. It really never belongs to you. Now that is greed and a rip off . I thought that was ridiculous. so I say, for peace of mind choose Kigali any day. Diasporans choose Kigali for financial peace of mind!!!!!!!

Bruh you said the right shit. It is exactly because of this that I am purchasing a house and thousands of hectares in South Africa. Ghana's real estate is one of the most expensive in the world with terrible craftmanship and overall quality. Homes for sale in dirty, filthy Kwabenya with poor craftsmanship going for $450,000 and similar. I mean what! But to be fair its only an Accra thing.

Jackson what’s the price? It’s a nice house. It’s a green house. It’s a nice house. Your eyes can tell it’s a nice house. Jackson what’s your number? My number is still the same. He brings fun stuff into his marketing. We celebrate you guys. I love to see more houses.

love the house, it's beautiful, all the details. I love the facts that they fitted all their houses with closets, and soo affordable, that same type of house here in Europe can go up for 2 to 3 million easily!

@@Unmad yeah, it's crazy, they make them extra big with more back yard to make you think the house is huge and then they promote them among the rich, if the owner is smart I would put a pool in it and a movie theater, that's extra amenities that will impress his clients!

The details and refinement makes this house a standout from much of what I have seen uploaded from some countries in Africa. I know this is just one, but the layout is what I am digging. It flows and the security bars looks like part of the design and not like Prison cheap bars. Great work from what I can see. ***let's keep in mind the Rwanda market value and not Western market prices*** Jackson, maybe consider not giving the price but have serious inquiries contact you for pricing. This I believe is better business practices. But please keep showing the available real estate.

Willie Teb our bank Interest rates are high for sure but you also have to consider that it’s being calculated on the local currency Rwf which if converted to USD (considering the annual rate of currency devaluation of Rwf against the USD) would be an interest rate of 8-9%. So if you were borrowing in dollars (which is not allowed by the central bank) you would be paying your Mortgage at 9% per year still very high compared to North America or anywhere in Europe but our housing market is also 3-4 times cheaper so when you do the math it’s still a better deal. Unfortunately banks rarely extend mortgages to foreigners unless you have a local permanent employment contract with a salary above average or have a very stable business here. They will never consider your oversea income if you’re not a Rwandan national.

Thank you for sharing Unapologetic Nomads - I've been watching your videos for over a month now, and love all of the homes you've shared with us, as well as the classy venues you've attended - Much Appreciated. I'm looking to visit Rwanda for 4-6 weeks within 6-months. I'm in the U.S. on the West Coast, and would love to stay at the current location you currently reside in Kigali - Can you please message me privately and/or connect me with the management team that rents out the property? Is is possible to do Month-To-Month? I love your place and the view is absolutely gorgeous. Also, I thought you may have mentioned heading to Tanzania in the next month or so...is that true? I assumed you would be making Rwanda your home and had planned on having a property build there? I love to meet all of you when I arrive and get settled, you are such a beautiful and fun family - Blessing, Peace, & Much Love:-)

Can someone please tell me what it is with Africans and concrete on residential properties? I've repeatedly seen homes with excessive concrete. Like how much paving do people need? Some say it's for the cars, but exactly how many cars do people have? 5, 6, 7? I hate to rant but I find it so unappealing to needlessly reduce space for grass and plants.

And why the window bars even in the most seemingly peaceful, "safe" areas? That and excessively tiled floors is another thing I've noticed. Like a whole house will have tiled floors. Forget wood and/or carpet. Just hard and cold tile in every room.
