NEW Sugar Scrubs Recipe!

I will be testing out a new recipe during this live! Join us to see how it goes.
This recipe has been formulated to be soft once set! It is emulsified so it turns into a luxurious lotion that scrubs away dead skin cells. I hope you enjoy this new formula. Please get the supplies needed from us!
Supplies:
Containers: bescented.com/product-category/jars-bottles/
Emulsifying wax: bescented.com/product/soft-silky-emulsifying-wax/

Preservative: bescented.com/product/germall-plus-liquid/
Stearic acid: bescented.com/product/stearic-acid/
Beeswax: bescented.com/?s=Beeswax
Fragrance oil: bescented.com/product-category/fragrance-oils/
Recipe:
18% Solid Butters - shea/cocoa/mango etc
64% liquid oils - rice bran/olive/avocado/jojoba oil etc
10% emulsifying wax - soft & silky ewax is the best.
4% Stearic Acid
2% Beeswax - or wax of choice
2% preservative - I use germall
2% fragrance of total recipe.
100-200% granulated sugar - I use 140% for my formula
16oz oil Recipe: This will make (4) 9.25 ounce jars. This will fit into a standard 8oz jar.
2.88 oz butters
10.24 oz liquid oils
1.60 oz ewax
0.64 oz stearic acid
0.32 oz beeswax
0.32 oz preservative
0.32 oz fragrance
22 ounces sugar

Hi Jen, if I use a spoon to take out what I need in the shower and keep it away from the running water, do I need a preservative?

Hello Jennifer from Greece!!! I want to ask you,after the butters and oils are melted, can i put them in the fridge to freeze and beat them in the mixer like the body butter and then add the sugar and the preservative? I want your opinion.And also in what percentage can i put fresh goat's milk in body lotion and what percentage of preservative? I am waiting for an immediate reply. Thank you!!!

I would try a small test batch of freezing the oils. It is emulsified and I am unsure how well you can beat the mixture once solid. Please let me know if you try it. I don’t make goat milk lotions so I can’t give any feedback on that question

Maybe if you want, change the thumbnail picture. I was going to make a joke here, but I read the comments and I decided not to be mean. Your recipe sounds wonderful, maybe put up a picture that reflects your wonderful ingredients. Thumbnail pictures should intrigue and fascinate like a website.

The oils seem to separate and sit on top. Any tips? I used shea butter, and the for the liquid oils I use jojoba, vitamin e and white willow extract. Let me know!

I am not familiar with some of your ingredients but willow extract is water based. It is probably the cause of your issue. Did you use emulsifying wax?
