Regarding upcoming video requests, I always say the same thing- I love hearing you talk about how you keep your home so tidy! And still manage to get the homeschooling, etc done. ☺️ But I love pretty much everything you ever post. And I can’t wait for a video about Silas the gecko! 🦎

We broke our only dog rule too!! We let our little boy get a green anole. If he does well with it, we will graduate to a bearded dragon. I swore I would never feed that thing crickets. Guess what? I love that little anole and I love feeding him crickets now! He comes to the top of his little hammock and waits like a dog. It’s so cute and I never thought I would say that! Have fun getting a gecko!!!!🦎🩵🩵

I have an exercise question for you. Is it more beneficial to lift more weight and less reps or less weight and more reps? And how can you tell if your muscles have done enough for as an example for arms?
@gwynethlester14213 ай бұрын
I am not a personal trainer just a woman who weight trains 3-4 times a week. That being said you should lift as much as you are able to while keeping proper form. Do slightly less reps if needed. Don’t push yourself because that’s how you get injured. You can tell you have done enough when you are struggling to get through the last of your reps while keeping the correct form. For example if you’re supposed to do 3 rounds of rows 10 per round, you should start off ok but really start feeling it by about halfway through, and then for myself I give myself permission to call it done after 8-9 reps if I’m seriously struggling. Keep going with the rounds though until your set is finished. I hope that helps a bit and wasn’t confusing.

I loved this vlog...it was so much fun! The gecko stuff looks great! Please share more on that when it's all set up! My twin daughters need one of those banana slugs!!! We spent a lot of vacation time in the Pacific Northwest when they were little. We lived in southern California for about eight years before moving back east. while on one of those hiking trails, the girls found all kinds of banana slugs and gathered them all together. They were around seven years old at the time. We have photographs of them holding bunches, and I mean bunches, of banana slugs in each hand!!! Needless to say they had plenty of that slime all over their hands!!!! I would not do that. 😍

We're leaving tomorrow for a very similar trip and your description has me extra excited! We're not RVing, though. We're flying into Seattle, renting a van, driving to Mt. Rainier, then Crater Lake, then the Northern California Redwood forest, then up the Oregon Coast, last in Olympic NP, and finally Seattle and flying back home!

Also, my 10 year old son got a gecko last summer and it's seriously more fun than I thought it would be. He does all the feeding and cricket stuff, so I don't have to do that! After a few months of being shy, the gecko started to come out more and more often and I swear the thing has a little personality.

My kids and I recently returned from a very similar 15 day road trip. We went to Oregon first, then up Washington, then over to Montana, down to Utah, then home to California. It was beautiful and amazing. My husband just started with a new company and wasn’t able to join us so he stayed home and cared for our animals. Sounds like you had a wonderful time.

That is so funny, your trip was very similar to ours, I wonder if we were at the same places on the same days! We did fort clatsop, Astoria, Cannon Beach, even bought the exact banana slug! Assuming you saw the shipwreck of the Peter iredale too. Such a great trip!! We went down to the redwoods and then home.

It's funny that you're talking about your trip. I was just googling directions from us to Glacier National Park last night. Hoping we can make that trip soon. We'd be Northern Ca into Idaho and then Mt. Debating if we fly to Spokane or tow the camp trailer. You've got me dreaming of traveling. 🙂 My oldest son got a crested gecko when he was 12. I said "Absolutely Never!" But some how he talked me into it and I eventually ended up loving that little guy.

Leopard geckos are the best! We had ours for 3 years; unfortunately sweet Nebula passed away this past April. Please use extreme caution with rock hides! Our gecko loved his, too much. He spent too much time in it and got hypothermia, at 70 degrees! We thought it would be cool to upgrade his habitat with one but we should have stuck with the coconut hides and log hide. His decline happened fast and by the time we got him to a reptile vet the damage was done. Def recommend finding a reptile vet. Also habitat temps and humidity levels depend on where you live and location of the habitat so humidity gauges and a laser thermometer help with that. The more Silas is handled the more accustomed he'll get. Ours made a great study buddy for our daughter. Best of luck and congrats on the addition to the family!

I love Vlogs and DITL. I would prefer more voiceover content instead of just playing music while you are doing things. For me, I rarely actually watch a full KZbin video and instead am listening while I do things. I tend to leave videos early (for everyone I watch) when there isn’t much talking to keep me entertained while I do my chores.
