Lived in Naples full time 2001/2014. Most of the bicyclists a observed thought that the laws of the roads did not apply to them. Run stop signs, cut right in front of you, turn in front of you and expect you to suck it up to avoid hitting them, failure to signal turns, etc. If your going to ride a bike on the streets, follow the laws.

Drivers do it all day. Let’s prioritize them first breaking the law…It’s not peoples job to hold your hand and tell you how to pay attention when driving like this dummy says at the end of the video.

@@manchildusa On top of that, cars, pickups, SUVs, etc. are much faster and can kill much easier than a bicycle. Walking/biking in this state is the worse because people drive like they have their eyes closed (and sometimes they might as well be because they're either admiring their crotch or looking at their phone).

The people complaining about the bike trail are the same people who don't know how to share the road. Just floors it into intersections, speeds towards stop signs without any regard for any other traffic, regardless if there's a car, biker, or a pedestrian there. Just pure entitlement. Also, having a stop sign for the bikers is just stupid. Should just be treated as a crosswalk and drivers should yield for pedestrians and bikers. Although that is too much to ask for drivers in this state to take a second and stop and check.
