I've been wanting to do this in my Midget for ages, but always been concerned about drilling into the windscreen frame as i didn't want to damage the screen either... This video, and you showing yourself fitting them, has given me the confidence to finally do it!! Thanks Mark!!

Go for it! Inside the frame is just the rubber seal i think so nothing to damage. It makes the driving experience so much nicer this time of year.

Brilliant, this is the time of year when they are needed, when the sun is low in Autumn and spring, but also they can be flipped up as wind deflectors in other situations. Looks like a good improvement for my Midget.

Yeah, i've been using them as sun visors above and below the screen. They don't really make much difference as wind deflectors though lol

Nice video - and timely! Looking at the Moss site, I think you may have fitted the chrome hinge parts handed the wrong way round/upside down. They appear to be pointing down as pictured on the Moss site, but you have fitted them pointing up. Which leads to another question - can you close the roof with the visors fitted? It looks to me that they might foul the roof, as you have fitted them, but fitted the other way up, maybe not. Cheers, Laurie. PS. I've been watching your Morris Minor videos - good stuff, and thanks.

Ah didn't notice that on the moss site. I don't have a roof on mine but think one would fit

Mine has visors on it. And my replacement windscreens, frame and all, also had them. Maybe they were default on US spec Midgets?

They might have been standard over there as you get a lot more sun than us lol
