Nice review !!! That micro cord is amazing !!! I made a 30' jungle knots ridgeline, and 6 x 10' guy lines (also, jungle knots) for an Aquaquest 10'x12' (maybe 10'x13' ???) tarp, and all of that cordage is still lighter than just a 30' 550 cord ridgeline. That set up has worked for me here in the Chicago area, The Windy City. Keep up the great work !!!

I love Atwood's micro cord and just recently discovered the Ready Rope, so I ordered a "Raw" version (i.e., empty, no cord) from them to use with some of the micro cord I already have on hand. I emailed them to ask if there really was a lighter that would fit in the micro version and they wrote right back to recommend the Bic Mini. Couldn't find a Mini locally but Amazon sells them and yes, they fit perfectly. I also bought a roll of Atwood Nano Cord -- no idea what I'll use it for yet! I just ordered some Atwood Tactical Cord and some 95 Paracord from them, looking forward to checking those out.

Atwood makes some very good cord. I haven't tried them all, but am very satisfied with what I have.

6:20 Makes me wonder why the manufacturer didn't do that... Without that little cap, that compartment is useless. Where can you get replacement caps? lol
