I had 5 brahmin spontaneously turn up without encouragement at Taffington Boathouse with all 5 simply queuing for the one trough. I added 4 in the hope they will all stay ... if they do, massive jet production boost !!

Oh Yes its going to happen alot, but you can put Brahmin feed troughs somewhere on your settlement and then fast travel away and come back and the brahmin should be where you put the feeding tubs

Actually if your settlement is large enough the engine might get confused and it'lll spawn in the sky and fall to it's death. You can see the same bug in skyrim if you run down whiterun plains mammoths might spawn up there. So if you see random dead brahmin it's probably because they glitched out and fell to their death when you weren't looking.

Neatly Done Sir! I have one question, if I may... How would I coax or coerce the Brahmin already at Abernathy Farm from her current enclosure to another that I have constructed on the other side of the Farm's main building? The newer enclosure is comprised of chain link or cyclone wire fencing, complete with a gate and there is a feed trough in place in the newer enclosure but dear old Clara-Bell seems uninterested in venturing from her more familiar abode.

I do not think so the Abernathy Brahman is a special Brahman like an npc while all the other brahmin are classified as brahmin the abernathy brahmin is clarabell in the creation kit and i think is scripted to stay in that small enclosure so you might have to renovate her current pen thanks for checking out the video

You're going to want more. For ingredients and for brahmin and the excess to sell. I'd do a few settlements as mixed farms and a few as specialty farms (one crop)

i adds fertilizer daily now i have no way of proving it i have tried to see how it works but its almost like magic i do know that they do produce fertilizer but how much and at what rate i am stumped hope this helps..

confirmed bub. it does add fertilizer per settlement that has a brahmin tub. finch farm sometimes bugs out and ends up w/ 6 brahmin wandering around, even w/ out the DLCs, you can drop a few tubs @ finch for steady fert. :D -FFM

uh actually DELTA0125 -Iv captured raiders in cages in my settlments and then lots of raiders showed up. Hypothetically speaking if you caged many deathclaws theres a higher chance that your settlement gets attacked by the deathclaws. I know that your turrents and deathclaws can kill raiders good but if deathclaws come you will just have to see if your turrents and deathclaws get them. Another way to get deathclaws is to craft them using the workshop but this is only in the pre-war settlements mod, you might still need the beta-wave emiter and animal freind in order to tame them though. So DELTA if your good against raiders with your set up now your going to find out if your set up at the settlement is good against deathclaws.

i do not believe u have to assign them but i have not tested the brahmin to see how they collect fertilizer i am going to do some test and make a video about it, thanks for the video idea and the question i hope i can get an answer to you

Thank you for the help. All my Brahmin in all my settlements say unassigned. if I click on a Settler, and try to assign them to Brahman, there's no option available to assign them. I do have Brahman feeders but I never get any fertilizer from any of the Brahman.

1- Brahmin cap is 3 per settlement. 2- You can buy them to Kelly. 3- get some plastic or buy it if you have some money. 4- Make jet. 5- sell jet. 6- You are fucking rich, buy a house and get some bitches.

For me my last settlement I built my 2nd settler brought a brahmin with. I didn't have any crops or trough. If you build a brahmin cage, it should catch one in less than one in game week :) :)

you can't sell them, but you can buy them. i have never seen the npc i think she gets stuck somewhere but i have never encountered her, mostly the brahmin are good for meat for cages and food and Fertilizer especially not much else thanks for taking the time to show support

Ummmm Kinda, they just kinda show up at your settlement and do what they want haha i think it depends on your settlement food production you can really end up with too many of them thank goodness for the bath tub feeding trough :-D

I have a fence set up for them but do I need anything other than their feeding trough? I didn't want that many but I have two. hahaha ive seen that when i fast travel to a settlement with too many animals they like dog pile on the spawn point i lost alot of my super mutant hounds that way How much food do you have, i usually see 4 or more brahmin at a location with 100 food for max settlers also works it has something to do with the settlement radio beacon, there is a vendor but i have never seen her i heard she was bugged Good luck with the Beef Hunt :-D

I do have a big garden that stretches across to houses & I recently (now 2 weeks) started so I only have 6 settlers right now, the original + one from diamond city. if you capture brahman with thos brahman cages and then use feed trophs do u get fertaliser cause i herd from others they havent got any from it and i just started building the cages and only captured 2 so far havent got any yet but havent done it that long

yes its confirmed but it takes a full 24hrs ingame time and it is one per Brahman so it dose work but you need a few and you want to play the game and let time pass or just leave the game on Thanks for checking out the video

In theory no u can still make a farm with Brahmin you just can not use the cages so you would have to make the settlement have a high food and happiness rating and you will attract brahmin to your settlement. there is also a wandering trader that sells them to you but she is kinda hard to find. you only need the dlc for the Cage traps thanks for checking out the video!

I got annoyed with the cows walking around I decided to kill one of them. The whole village started shooting. I was like chill i got this. Turns out they were shooting me. My campaign started killing all the settles. I had to turn off my ps4 before it autosave.

Best thing to kill them is captured death claw you allow to rampage. Just go into edit mode and you can move the cage without opening as long as its connected to power. Use Jet to kill deathclaw so it doesn't kill everything.

you can grow your own razor grain
