Also - whether Louis hits feed presence . Not realy puppeteer is like other survivor can be downed with 2 hits since everytiem he use transform he will get chip dmg but can withstand terrorshock while psyco can tank 3 hits but idk if chip dmg also get reduced to half if it is then he cant get countered by chip dmg since the there will be a sligh percent for him to getdowned to be honest hes really bad rn i mean lawyer are better than him no terror shock and permanent speed bosst and decode debuff

Not really like the guy explained above. His ability is not a passive ability like Psycho or Merc's. It's more like Professor or Seer where you gotta use your skill to tank hits.

Puppeteer deals DMG to himself, only block half DMG and that's it. Oh sorry he gets a small movement speed buff for a bit.

@@KruukkNot having cooldown to the “shield” is pretty good in my opinion. Both as first chase (You get 4 hits even if you are in a bad kiting area and nowhere to transition) or rescueing against chip hunters (Everytime you activate the skill, you essentially get a free 1/4 health (gain temporary 1/2 - 1/4) so you can eat up chip dmg)

Ngl Idk how to feel about him. The heal split to where you and an ally be 3/4 is fine but in the long run that won't really matter because Joseph and chup hunters exists and your healing is super slow. Maybe dolvin can bypass his anti-heal but idk his age because you gotta be of legal age to drink the dolvin😅. But he does look fun to play.

Hes an absolute rescuer like merc or better since he has build in fly wheel only counter to him is chip dmg mean hes good for this day meta where most of them are single hit hunter he and alva can probably counter each other and also heal persona is a good thing to have

So it would take 4 hits to knock him down if he goes into puppet form each time before getting hit? That seems REALLYYY good. He can save twice in a row and only lose half his health…Merc for example can only save once(and usually take a hit) and if he has to save again he’ll most likely go down to a second hit which is bad. So the fact that Puppeteer can just easily save 2x in a row AND still have 2 more hits till he goes down is insane. Also the healing debuff isn’t that bad since you don’t really want to waste time healing anyways in most cases. His puppet block thing can counter hunters like Axe Boy/ Ripper/ Violinist/Naiad/Leo, etc. He’s an insane rescuer but can also kite for a long time I think if he gets chased first.

Wouldn't he only be able to save once? Coz if he uses puppet to save that's -1/4 HP. Then he gets hit as a puppet to save that's -1/4 HP again. So now he's 1/2 HP only. He goes for another save so he uses puppet so another -1/4 HP to use skill. Then he gets hit as a puppet so that's -1/4 HP and now he's down coz he doesn't have merc skill where the DMG takes effect after 8s.

​@@stanliu6885No, every time he uses the puppet, he loses 1/4 health but gets a shield that gives Terror Shock immunity and tanks 1/2 damage and can use an active ability that lets him tank any damage source for 1s, which if timed correctly, allows him to STAY in puppet form. So technically he could even go for 3 saves and would have 1/4 health left after that.

His lack of cooldown will be very interesting considering he can counter every regular hit hunter but also kinda like guarantee a 30s kite against chip damage hunters (maybe with a good comp he could be actually an alternative in tournament) 🤯

I not gonna lie- I love the concept idea and the art of the character. But the more we get information, then more i got disappointed... I didn't expect him to be a rescuer and now THAT healing thing. Probably the best pick for the team would be going with a Puppeteer and the Doctor??? Idk.

Is anyone here talking about how if he is at full health he can tank detention hits and terrorshocks as a puppet You know those situations where someone is chaired near the exit but the hunter has detention? You have tide but there’s no way you’re getting to the chair without going down? Well if you’re Matthias problem solved!

Do we really think they will hold onto it? Hunters will bark about it and then the detention tank will be gone, like Merc was not chaseabel and now he is with the 8 sec delay, imo this will happen to him too, getting more damage out of hits or reducing the numbers to hit him who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

While it is stupid he can't be healed by others, at least he can heal ship damage, which imp can be quite a valuable asset to a team. I would probably build him on healing speed and recue, since his kite seems to be naturally good already 🤷‍♀️

I think he will be trash against chip hunters, one chip and u cannot use ability anymore or u will be half health and vulnerable to blink. U can try to predict blink but if u failed (or even if u blcoked the hit), u will still be left with 1/4th of health without ability against a hunter who can do chip.( and if they managed to bait ur ability they will also have a blink left)

It feels kinda meh tbh although i will say i dont think the healing debuffs are enough he still seems quite strong compared to how easy he seems to be. I guess we have to see if he feeds presence and how much per hit. Also isnt he able to get healed but he has to heal others and they both heal 1/4 of fear?

yes he heals others with 30% slower to heal both of them 1/4 of fear while he can't be healed himself and after that he debuffs healed survivor healing speed by 20%

Seems fine? His rescue/kiting can be as powerful as merc's, but the healing debuff will hit really hard and make him unusable in certain situations. Just seems like a higher risk/reward merc to me 🤔

I think I’m confused. If he takes 1/4 damage to go into puppet mode, and then takes half damage whenever he gets hit in puppet mode, wouldn’t that mean if he goes into puppet mode and gets hit, he still takes a total of one half of his health? What’s the point of that?

A Puppeter Pseudo Tank Survivor I should say a little bit worse version of mercenary. Getting Tanky in exchange of cannot be heal is a big deal and the fact he use quarter if his health to take big hits I think he only have 1 time use of protection same of what professor do. I guess any different ways of healing can work like Psychologist but overall its decent survivor same as Aeroplanist tier.

Watch him get a buff bc ghe CN playerbase is gonna complain about the healing debuff. I personally think that on his own hes gonna be an amazing kiter, he basically comes with a built in flywheel!! If he can run that with so many build that makes him easily one of the most flexible survival in the game (imo) not only thay but being able to reject a full hit on its own is already awesome especially with the current meta we have plus we have yet to see what kinda of buffs/needs he'll get in the test server and if he can be healed by Ada n Dovlins from Demi all in all im planning S badging him and i defeat think hes competition viable with the way he is now (this is still all my opinion take it with a grain of salt 😅)

NOOOO, I'm so sad. That healing debuff is horrendous. Any other character can do the same but better like Seer, professor, journalist. I'd say healing chip damage could be good against hermit, but even then slowing down their healing speed by that much is not worth it.

Cheap version of gardener, who is cheap version of psychologist. (If he can't heal all the damage like doc it useless making him healer persona to counter his debuffs). So he absorb 3-4 hits and counter detention. (But i wonder can he counter Hermit and Joseph detention cuz their damage with detention is bigger. I still don't know does Photographer deal 2.5 damage or 3 damage with detention?).

It’s only a debuff against half-damage hunters, none of which are meta Against regular hunters, it is an EXTREME POWER because it heals two people with only one heal. Even if you are going against a chip damage hunter, it allows you to heal half hp which only barmaid, psychologist, and doctor can do
