How much brighter is this than a Leupold VX6 3x18x44?

The brightness will be based on objective lens size and a few other factors, but the light transmission on these z5+ scopes is about as good as it gets at 91%. The VX-6HD is a fantastic scope, too. Leupold's dawn/dusk focused coatings are a factor in low light. In this price range, you're going to get a very bright image either way, so it's down to personal preference.
