#Taekwondo Prohibited acts and Penalties, ⭐ Crossing the Boundary Line ⭐ Falling down ⭐ Avoiding or delaying the match ⭐ Grabbing or pushing the opponent ⭐ Lifting the leg to block
⭐ Kicking the opponent’s leg to impede the opponent’s kicking attack ( Details ) ➜ ⭐ Kick was aiming to below the waist ⭐ Lifting the leg above waist for kicking in the air for four (4) times or more
⭐Lifting a leg or kicking in the air for more than three (3) seconds to impede opponent’s potential attacking movements ⭐ Kicking below the waist ⭐ Attacking the opponent after "Kal-yeo" ⭐ Hitting the opponent’s head with the hand ⭐ Butting or attacking with the knee ⭐ Attacking the fallen opponent ⭐ Attacking trunk PSS with the side or bottom of the foot in clinch position ⭐ Attacking back of head PSS in clinch position ⭐ Not complying with the referee’s command or decision ⭐ Inappropriate protesting behavior to officials’ decisions ⭐Inappropriate attempts to disturb or influence the outcome of the match ⭐ Provoking or insulting the opposing contestant or coach ⭐Unaccredited doctor/physicians or other team officials found to be seated in the doctor’s position ⭐ Any other severe misconduct or unsportsmanlike conduct from a contestant or coach ⭐ When a contestant commits a prohibited Act followed by an Attack After “Kal-yeo” (as per article
14.4.1.7) or any other unsportsmanlike behavior (as per article 14.4.1.13) the Referee may give a
2nd “Gam-jeom” for ‘Attack after “Kal-yeo”’ or ‘Misconduct’.

How do you block a kick if you cant lift your leg to block? Also whats the difference between holding the opponent and clinching them

@@bernicelim181 Thank You for Contact. 1st Answer :- Lifting the leg or cut kick motion shall not be penalized only when it is followed by execution of punching or kicking technique in combination motion. 2nd Answer :- While clinching, the position of a fighter's arms is vitally important. The fighter always tries to keep his arms on the inside of his opponent's, allowing him to press his elbows together building a tighter grip. Holding is like in clinch position opponents try to press both arms on his/her opponent to hold him/her to prevent their attacking movements.
