Thank you for sharing. Here’s the update. Construction is ongoing in the following sections. Phase 5 is expected to be completed earlier than the others and will begin operations soon: • P3: Makutopora-Tabora • P4: Tabora-Isaka • P5: Isaka-Mwanza • P6: Tabora-Kigoma The African Development Bank (AfDB) and Deutsche Bank have joined forces to fund the Isaka-Burundi section, while the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will connect via Burundi and also through Lake Tanganyika.

29:32 that street is called Kisasa the roof of the houses are almost all brown coloured. As you approach a different roof colour know that its a different street. That is how they planned Dodoma. That brown street is called Kisasa its the Masaki of Dodoma. Great video by the way it was an adventure

In Tanzania 🇹🇿 you just book your ticket online, then show up at the terminal and scan your bags, boom your good to go and enjoy a quiet &smooth ride.🔥 No standing on some stup!d lines for hrs,no need to print your ticket, no crazy security checks with dogs like in other neighboring countries. Then after going through all of that, now you have to fight for your life in a noise bumpy train ride powered by kerosene with a snail speed 😂😂😂

Tanzania sgr speed is more than 160km/hr and its electrified noise less and comfortable but kenya sgr speed is less than 120km/hr and its disel trash with large amount of noise😂 and full of smoke with speed like tourtles

Tanzania SGR electric trains can travel at a maximum of 160 Km per hour while Kenya's Diesel SGR trains speed is 120 Km per hour a difference of 40 Km or 3½ hours

@@lakasid3860Old refurbished, used electric MITUMBA trains. Those Tanzania SGR electric trains have just been repainted , they are very old , not even second hand. Zimepakwa Rangi mpya tu .That's why they are breaking down and stopping all the time. They can't operate for one straight month without breaking down or jamming and going off on the way. Even you don't have enough Electricity for operating them. That's why now you are sometimes using Diesel trains like Kenya . Serikali ya CCM inawazengua. MITUMBA HIYO

The Kenya SGR train has a capacity of 1,260 passengers and also consists of a luggage carrier with a capacity of 70 tonnes. According to the report, the number of passengers travelling in February 2024 dropped from 192,376 in January to 158,652. The number, however, increased to 180,645 in March 2024. The Tanzania Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) can carry up to 590 passengers per train. The SGR's Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) trains have eight wagons and can travel at speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour.
