Only thing I dislike about these videos is they're not long enough.. Could watch these all day everyday.. What I'd give to shadow Lee just one week in the off season.

I wonder what percentage of hunters have a budget (land, equipment, crops, blinds, stands, etc...) devoted to hunting like this? I'm not judging anyone's passion, resources, or priorities in life. I shot my first buck at age 12 (1975) using a 20 gauge Sears Ted Williams pump shotgun that had a broken rear stock that was glued & nailed back together. I believe my dad paid $54 for it. That first buck was a dandy 10 pointer that took me 40 years to top with my bow in 2015. My little brother shot a dandy 8 pointer with that same old shotgun at age 12 three years later. The biggest difference was the cost of our head mounts. Mine was $65, and three years later his was $125. Nearly 50 years later, times have really changed. I'm sure many could share similar stories. In some ways, I miss a bit of the past. I waited along the road after I shot that big buck, because I knew about what time my grandpa would be going by with his milk can truck. I needed his help! Milk cans & small cheese factories - that's all gone today (even in Wisconsin), too! Videos like these just remind me how drastic things have changed, & that goes beyond deer hunting! Good luck to everyone this upcoming 2023 season!

Nice work Lee. Love the passion. I think it's awesome you guys are sharing these pictures of these incredible bucks. Knowing anybody could get them , obviously the structure and work you do to your farms allow you to fit to those deer but it's pretty cool to see how you guys go from year to year and how you choose your bucks you'd like to take not just because they are big but knowing there are great younger bucks coming up

I know you run a pretty large farm operation so its easier than most to get something new thrown in the ground, but have you ever considered getting a water truck like Terry has to help some of your smaller plots get from rain to rain? Obviously its not the amount of water you get from even a 1/4 inch of rain, but a little bit of water would help and it looks like you have pleanty of room on the farms to park one lol. Love the updates and the information, keep it up! - Jealous Michigan Hunter

@brandonkallio1215 Жыл бұрын
185" -190 is my guess. Keep in mind I'm in Alberta and our deer are big bodied and it throws off my measurements when I score Midwestern and southern deer a little I tend to over score southern deer and under score Alberta deer. Any deer over 160 is a monster. Until you hold one in your hands you don't realize how big they really are.
