Tommy 48 right now in real life so whatever is next for him probably comes same time as Origins. Kinda have his beginning and end airing together and wrap them up at the same time then transition back to the new Ghost and Cane in 2030. Random but in looking up Tommy age and other cast members, it's absolutely crazy to me that Lauren is 32 fr. She 8 years older than Tariq and Cane 8 years older than Effie, who knew 🤷🏿‍♂️

A 5-10 year time jump is pretty much a recast of characters. I can see 1-3 years. Diana needs muscle to run "the business". She needs to do something other than drugs. Lorenzo said she belongs in the boardroom. Effie would be doing robotics engineering in five years. It makes sense for Cane to move out of the country. Lauren would look really dumb for even considering Tariq again. Only personal tie of a family Riq could have is if they reintroduce Destiny and she's been passing off his seed as someone else's. It would cause conflict and issues in Tariq's life because he didn't want a family while being in the life.

I feel like they decided not to make another season because like they said the show was getting expensive, like the more seasons go on, the more money you gotta pay the actors, plus the show has Mary J Blige,Method Man, and Larenz Tate, and they had Micheal Ealy. In their mind is that imma just make another show with some of the same actors because it’s cheaper and we could start off from scratch. But your theory makes sense, if your theory is true, I hope they do it at 2-3 years because that’s insane to do it at 10 years, but like you said it gives more time for the actors to grow because I feel like Ghost has good actors but they’re not great actors though like even though I like Ghost the most out of all the spin-offs, Raising Kanan has the best acting though.

I think it also to keep their cast from becoming tight cast and unable to do other shows it other types of shows. All of their main young talent also has other projects they're working on and want to do. Basically, it gives them a break from the show. Mary was the highest paid. If it was true she was making over four hundred thousand per episode. Ealy and Tate weren't making more than Tariq per ep so that's why they're probably not killed off. Davis was the second paid but unlike Monet who has tours to fall back on Davis can probably afford to take a pay cut or maintain his salary whereas Monet and rightfully so due to who she is in real life probably wants a raise. Then again music is her first love, she may be ready to move on because acting takes up a lot of your time.

I think there will be a time jump too but I was thinking it would only be a few years for us but a time jump on screen (10 years later) with new look-a-like actors in their 30’s replacing all the kids. People change like the wind, and it seems like a gamble to wait 5-10 years and still have a dedicated audience, and some of these actors could be committed to other projects by then. Season 1 of bmf was better than the whole power book 2 series alone . I have to say Ghosts do die and Power does end. Yes the actors are young but if they wait 5-10 years it’s almost a whole new generation. 50 is smart and obviously interested in $ he’s not waiting a long time . There should be a “time jump”. Stats lionsgate aren’t waiting that long . I’m quite sure they have an outline and they can bring a new show in one year. I think the next show put Tommy not Tariq in charge . As actors they need to work. He’s going to grow to respect ghost and get an emotional connection. As for ghost I think he might see him. Lol i do think they may wait a bit before they start filming Tariq's next chapter but not as long as 5 to 10 years. I think they will give it a couple years and then bring it back for 2027 at the latest. You have to remember that Tariq got to to the top of the game WAY before Ghost. Ghost was still working for Kanaan in his twenties and didn't get a chance to move up until he sent him to prison. By time we first saw Ghost on top, Kanaan has already been in prison for 10 years. So Ghost may not have gotten to the position Tariq is in until his thirties. So continuing Tariq's storyline when he's in his mid to late twenties makes sense. I believe Tariq's character is about 20 now on the show but Michael Rainey Jr. Is 24 in real life. So in 3 years if they start the show again, they can do a 6 to 7 year time jump and have Tariq be about 27 and it will actually be accurate to Michael Rainey's real age. The characters that play Effie and Brayden will be around 30 or close to it. So it will still be believable that they are much older and far removed from school. Thunk about it. It's not really necessary to wait 10 or even 5 years to continue the story. The key that makes it possibe is that Tariq is further ahead at a much earlier age than his father was. The whole premise is for Tariq to be a better and smarter version than his pops. Being ahead of the game at a much younger age is part of that process. I'm just saying!

💡💡🎯 😂 POWER is best show Starz shows Ever Had! The viewership only rises yet Starz keeps finding away to remix the show(s) do to the budget The final episode was a 9.5 out of 10. The only thing that stopped it from being a 10 was the Cane disappearance at the hanger. The series coming to an end felt like the end of a season finally episode. However NAH ITS OVER FOLKS...There will be not be any new spin-off staring any of these characters. They cost too much now. Starz isn't upping the budget. There is no cross over. They left it open ended to keep the fans watching. They want fans to keep guessing what they'll do next while hyping the next show on the rotation. They'll give the fans rasing Kanan, tease you with Breeze character eluded to Origins give the fans Force. Same at the end of Force. They'll leave questions unanswered storylines unfinished. The newer shows that are more budget friendly (Raising Kanan & Origins) will be the shows/ spin-offs for the immediate future. Sprinkle in BMF and Thats it. Its all about the money. They won't pay Tommy, Tariq, & Davis in a NEW spin-off show. All the actors reprising roles is NOT HAPPENING. Power did something no show has done since Star Trek. A Completed History! They gave shows in the present, past, and future of the main show Power...If there is another Show that includes Tariq in the future It won't happen at STARZ...50 might do a NEW Power iteration at another network 5 years from now telling a modern story that could include an older version of Tariq But thats it folks, its a wrap. Power Never dies!
