I will definitely try the Rabanne Lovebalm!! Funny Rabanne story--I ordered a lipstick (and I like it) and got a free purse mirror compact with purchase. It is silver and looks very much like the duo shadow compact. One major difference…ITS ACTUALLY SOLID METAL AND HEAVY AS A BRICK! I laughed so hard. The palettes, which I would have enjoyed being heavy, are very light. And the free gift with purchase purse mirror is as heavy as an anvil so you’d never actually want to put it in your purse. Why, Rabanne, why??? 😂😂😂 Wait, maybe they intended for it to be a mirror for your bag AND a to be used for self defense if necessary. The problem is that I’m not sure I possess the arm strength to hurl it in an effective manner. But if it did connect with someone, a bone would be broken for sure!

Hahahahhahaha. "Excuse me, Mr. Attacker, I need to just fix my face first with this mirror...." and, when he least expects it, WHAPAA with the metal. The power of Rabanne! hahaha. See, he'd NEVER fall for it if you said you had to fix your eyeshadow. That is clearly the logic the brand used when deciding to make the purse mirror heavier.

Yes! I love lip balms. My lips are chronically dry and often flake. I may try a brand but most don’t live up to the hype. I probably will buy Bloody Kiss. Anyway, I love you and love your honesty. ❤😘🤗❤️

Rebecca, I'm finally on the very end of the Ciaté Lip Gloss and have secured another recently. I've been looking at those Rabanne Lip Glosses for so long, especially Toxic Lips & Bloody Kiss. I've already bought the three Metallic Matte Lipsticks and two of the others. So, after watching your video tonight, I caved. Just as well I did, everything was low in stock. I bought both glosses mentioned above, two more of the Eye-shadow Duo's, Metal Shots and the Glitter Pigment. I'm really loving this brand and ready to play around with more of these items. I'd like to try the coloured pigment in the tubes, but I had to draw the line somewhere. I'm quite liking the Prada Lipsticks, despite being matte. They don't feel matte nor look it. I'm so glad I delved into Selfridges. Waiting until sometime next year for Prada and no-one knowing what was happening with Rabanne frustrated me no end. I'm totally in love with both brands!❤ I also grabbed the last remaining ND Lila Palette from the Sephora website, while using my points to get 10% off. When palettes as rare as this show up available, it's sometimes worth to take the leap. Thanks for tempting me into another purchase from Selfridges. They'll be loving me!🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

I have 6 shades of the Tarte and I love it! I don't think the finish is too metallic. It has a nice shimmer which is what I wanted and I like the applicator too. Just click it once or twice for the correct amount to prevent it from getting sloppy. I usually use a matte liquid lip as a base or a lip liner as a base on my lips and use the balms as toppers.

Can't get the Rabanne in Canada and I'm not a fan of the coconut smell of the Tarte so I guess these are out for me, although I love the metallic lip look. So pretty on you! And I don't have Tik Tok and my IG feed is all cats so I'm not influenced much so didn't even know about the Dior lip oils being a big deal. I bought one to compare to the Merit ones and returned it immediately - I've actually gone through 2 entire Merit lip oils which blows my mind - I never finish anything. I think they are far superior to Dior or any other lip oil I've tried. I wish they would release more colors. And for that click up lip balm formula you mentioned - tried a few of those and returned them except one that I'm in love with by Cle De Peau called the Refined Lip Luminizer at $80 CAD.

Definitely I like Rabanne balms. The ones from Tarte are too metallic. And overall I don’t like Tarte as a brand. My favourite brand for lip balms is Guerlain. Thanks for sharing!🙂

Tarte has/had? a cream blush and I have a shade that I absolutely love but now I can't find the blushes anywhere and I can't even find the shade in another blush formula!!!😢😢😢 Those 2 Tarte glosses are NICE!! Are they limited for the holidays?

I don’t like those darker shades of the tarte because they look too metallic. However, some of the lighter shades like the mauve look more shimmery and less metallic affording to other lip swatches I’ve seen and also searching it on my hand.

They are really quite metallic. All the advertisements show them as glittery but I didn’t really find that to be the case. More like foil and very heavy handed at that. So I’m not sure it was the shade you chose. It probably is just the product.

YESSSSS! I have this happen with SO many brands. It's VERY frustrating. I had that happen with my VBB primers. I have to waste a bit on my hand to see what color it is. And there's another one that escapes me right now but I literally can't even USE it because it's a craps shoot about what shade it is.
