Im thinking buster blader could counter this. Buster bladers fusion with rebirth judgment, dna surgery and buster dragon. Since the ritual says to summon reptile from grave. And it wont be able to summon if rebirth judgment is on the field having done deagons. Bystials also counter it i think since the reptiles are dark and light. So a bystial buster blader can counter it i reckon.

Don't forget that the new Blue-Eyes cards also help with making Buster Blader more consistent, allowing an additional normal for your light buster whelp and going into your protector whelp.

@YGO_BERRY I'm using bystials, and some red-eyes support. Effect veiler linking to moon maiden also helps for link material to use bydtials to banish veiler then link again for little knight, heiratic seal, or the buster whelp link. I also have dragoon for protection with its negate and great against monsters that target and destroy, use it for otk. I'll upload my decklist if I can. But it's super consistent. The only bricks would be the dark magician and red eyes cards. But I set up my whole board turn one. On field: mausoleum, buster dragon, buster blader fusion, little knight, rebirth judgment, dragon buster destruction sword, branded regained. in my hand is imperm, veiler, and ghost mourner. While of course I summoned the buster blader fusion and syncro and buster destruction sword on opponents turn 1, my 2nd turn I summoned dragoon. That's a test hand. My board was unbreakable unless they had board wipe. They can't summin from extra deck, monsters in graveyard can't activate, monsters on field can't activate. Then follow up with dragoon next turn.

@@BadBoysBoogiewhilst I love rebirth judgment and it can set up amazing OTK plays with Buster Blader. It’s much more consistent to run the destruction sword monster who just shuts off grave effects when attached. You can send it to grave with prologue/link whelp or discard it from hand via whatever discard effects you have, my personal favourite is DS fusion spell. Fusing with my opponents field rather than my own grave is always welcomed, but not focused. I currently have Tenpai Blader set up, the banlist has hit it quite hard but it still does its job of making sure at least one dragon is in the grave with a prologue on the field, it’s basically all you really need. And hope the opponent doesn’t draw Raigeki, Don’t gotta worry about monster effects if I don’t gotta worry about monster effects, ya know? You do you though, I was just happy to run into another BB enthusiast.
