First of all... thank you so much for this Video! But... I have sooo many questions ;-) I really wonder that I'm the first one here. Would be so kind if you could answer (if you find time). 1. I also built up a quite complex setup over time with many external gear. Because most of my gear has USB Midi I used to prefer it over DIN Midi. But meanwhile I need three USB-Hubs (about 30 USB connections) to run all stuff and it's getting really difficult especially with Midi latency and jitter (to be honest... still can't say which machine's fighting with what of these problems). What is your experience with USB Midi in general? Seems you prefer DIN Midi over USB Midi, right? Because the CAT also would have USB Midi. And do you plug any USB Midi in your computer (direct) or just when you need it in your Mio? 2. I saw in the Video that you're using an ERM-Multiclock. Could you explain how you integrate it in your (DAW-)Setup in combination with the Mio? Thank you so much in advance!

The MiO XL has already a lot of USB ports and the rest you can use a powered USB hub - the Multiclock is not good for being implemented to the computer it even says that in the manual... It's made for live and it should be master clock. Watch my weekly studio streams on Twitch: FLASH_Lab you can ask questions there

Great explanation. I just wonder and couldn´t find it, but on those pro midi boxes do they have the option of using ableton link? per port(s) or the whole interface? I just find link really great ime for jamming, do you still have to edit timing differences between recorded devices or is it really (approx) sample accurate?

it's very accurate and this one works with link I think - I use it simply with USB to my Cubase
