one example that is really hyped right now is AI/Generative AI. Everybody`s talking about it yet only few can understand where to implement it. In business not all the problems can be solved by AI and AI can not solved every business problems

but the delta time is really faster than usual because a company like Meta is bridging the gap with that Hype and Plateau by bringing the model to open source and making it accessible for everyone to used it

That's true, but Meta's work is only one part. As you said the actual implement and creating business value is difficult. People will see, that is not as easy as they thought to make money with it or integrate it in their products to add value for customers
