Nice new scope! Avid astrophotographer here. Great explanation of the scope. BTW: The F thing is called the "focal ratio". It's the ratio of the diameter of the telescope aperture to the focal length. In your case this is aperture: 280mm divided by focal length 2800mm = focal ratio: F10.

Great job, my man! I am hoping to get into astrophotography soon, so I have been watching some videos. Glad that I found yours! I also had a fascination with astronomy and science in general when I was younger. It has never faded. I saw Halley's Comet when I was a kid and I made sure to see the Venus transit across the sun, made sure I was in the totality area for the solar eclipse here in America a few years ago, and the Christmas Star a bit over a year ago. At your age, you will see Halley's Comet, be sure to have your set up ready! Clear skies my friend and I will be subscribing!

@@planeearther7966 Hundreds of millions of miles..... Was there something funny about that accurate comment? Are you one those who is so egregiously ignorant that you consider yourself intelligent and, because you're also a jerk, try to make fun of people who are actually much smarter than yourself when they make a statement or comment that you aren't able to understand? Don't worry, those questions are rhetorical (you can look up the big words later). You go ahead and enjoy your "Drooling as a Hobby" club meeting, where I'm guessing you and your pals are trying to figure out if breath is real or just imagined (spoiler alert: it's real). Normally I encourage people to think for themselves but in your case, please stop trying. You've proven already that thinking is a skill you're just not equipped to handle.

No wonder you’re so emotional and triggered. 😂 keep believing clown boy.
