I too don’t have a picture of me, my mother and father. I have a picture of my mother and father at my wedding to my first husband but I’m not in the photo. I grew up without my dad and I was starting a relationship with him and had only a few years before he passed suddenly in the street :’( I agree with you, hold your loved ones close as you never know how long you have with them. Nice haul. I bought the carrot for my puppy dog. I love the kitty cushion. I love my Stanley dupes, green that I put leopard print on and I have a glitter holo purple/lilac one.

Did you know that you can photoshop your mom and dad in a picture with you. That's a option. You also should teach everyone a Spanish word each video. I understand about that text message. That happened to my husband when his mother passed. He was on his computer at 2AM and saw a FB message from his oldest son saying "condolences about Grandma, I was so sorry to hear about it". WHAT? I know all of his brothers and sisters are in different states but so is his son. Apparently, he learned his younger sister, who lived down the street from Mom, told his brother and SIL to not tell my husband because she was "mad at him" for something. His brother and SIL are kind of afraid of the sister and they don't get along with her either. I mean, really. So, his ex and his kids knew long before he did. My husband is the oldest and should have been the first to know. So, yes, worse things can happen.

You sound like me and my dad. He was out of my life for 18 yrs. Then I tracked him down when I was 24. Then 7.5 yrs ago I became a trucker and could get to Idaho where he was. Unfortunately he passed away back in August. My mother passed away 4 years ago last November.
