My hardware 1 sucks so bad. I almost rammed the back of a truck merging into my lane. I bought it 1 month before hw 2 was released bummer. Also my capacity is draining at an accelerating rate. Total capacity is down 100km. Hope Tesla honors their warranty.

A camera blind spot cannot be worked around in software...Camera based parking will never be as safe with the cameras where they are mounted today. The car needs to know where the walls, obstructions are at bumper level and they need short range USS/radar for that.

The Camera Upgrades are part of the new HW4 and will first be present in model Y and 3 but ultimately be the future for all of the Tesla fleet. We have only involved the Camera upgrades in this video As this Video is all about the Model Y. You already pointed out the main HW4 updates will be present in other Models. @@marklaffey7972 How do you define “light years” and why does it matter if it is still illegal to use and dangerous? Even calling it ‘autonomous driving’ is an exaggeration. Here, in the UK, the most autonomous feature is restricted to 6 metres, to private land, otherwise it’s the same features as my E-Class Mercedes estate would have from 2013 or that were available as extras at the time. You cannot use Tesla’s features at roundabouts, entering side roads, at traffic lights and so on. Tesla charged around £6,800 for the promise of future updates. I’d say, whoever paid for it, it serves them right! May as well, they could have put a deposit on the Tesla truck whenever Musk broke the window on the ‘prototype’...

Clearly you don't have a Tesla. Their customer service is one if the best. Depending on the issue they will even come to you. Depending on where you live, it's cheaper to have Tesla insurance than anyone else.

you need to tell people its only SOME countries that DON'T HAVE IT!! Australia and many other countries that have the steering wheel on the left side still have ultrosonic sensors on the 2023 models and they will remain.

In the long run they will remove all USS. When Tesla figured out a way to run tesla vision only properly, they will adopt that on the entire fleet world wide. It is the Future of Tesla and Only a matter of time.

@@pkerry12 .. Just letting you know, the ultrasonic sensor only works for up to a few meters... It's not going to help safety standards. Or to make the cars "safer"... Radar or LiDAR are what's necessary for what you were thinking.
