He is ahead at what he does compared to the industry(some practically and some not) just like tony stark in iron man 2 when he mentions how far ahead he is and how he privatised the world peace. 3. They both get in trouble for what they do best... The way he acted a while ago was a bit too far for the submarine thing which is also similar to tony who built a robot that almost destroyed the planet because he was thinking way ahead than he should have and didn't think of the possibility of a bad outcome like the submarine. They are not the same in everything of course (tony stark is solo, introvert and very sarcastic while Elon is just the futurist in his company and gets help from multiple thinkers) it's just the futuristic personality they both have makes them look so similar. And Remember Elon musk creates crazy stuff too like the flame throwers that they manufactured a while ago and if he had the resources like tony has in his world for example the miniature reactor I'm %99 sure he will attempt on creating a super exo suit and sell it to rich people so they can feel like iron man but he mentioned in a video this tech doesn't exist... yet, so the planet is safe for now🤓.

Actually, it's already happening, lol. Chinese manufacturers already makes millions of EVs for chinese market, because chinese government subsidises them a lot. It's a real deal to buy new EV for 11-15 USD in China. Of course it's a chinese car, so basically it's a trash because of quality, and materials, and design, and specs, but mass production EVs - it's not a 10 years perspective, it is a our reality, it's happening right now. I am saying it is a moot point because there will always be a "fastest car right now" but it is ignorant and retarded to compare two cars from two different time periods. There won't be a Demon in 3 years so this car won't take it down at all, let alone "so quickly". The Demon won't be in production in 3 years. It's a one year run. You are reacting to this Tesla being announced today as if it would be available today. Otherwise you wouldn't have said "so quickly". 3 years until the Tesla comes out is not "quickly". Model 3 was supposed to be out already but it's just making it onto roads about a year late, mind you. Tesla has plenty to do before they can release this car. torque isnt really an issue tbh, its the grip in the tire, the ability to put the power down. You could have unlimited torque and the tires would simply spin.

10000 newton meters of torque is roughly 7375 lb/ft. For perspective, the Bugatti Chiron (with it's 8.0L Quad-Turbo W-16) makes about 1180 lb/ft between 2000 and 6000rpm. Being electric, the Tesla has no powerband, it's all there all the time. 0-60 is 0.5 seconds faster than the Chiron, 1.9 vs 2.4. As for price.....you could buy about 10 Roadsters for the cost of 1 Chiron......

Instead of putting him down, how about we appreciate the fact that he's taking LEAPS in the right direction, in order to make the earth a better place and progress humanity. I will buy a Tesla when I have the money, not for it's high end specs(which mind you are still insane, for a care available to the general public), but the fact that they don't cause pollution. It's easy to say, "Oh the gasoline cars are still better". They've been under development for almost a century for god's sake! And this man, with his team, has come pretty close to them in less than a decade.

That roadster is the real life KITT. it just needs to talk. Actually, considering autopilot and such tech is built in, all Tesla cars could use a voice assistant system, I can imagine how convenient it could be if Tesla cars could talk and take voice commands like Alexa or Siri.

Great work by Tesla but one thing that people need to know is that moving towards electric-only doesn't mean much if the sources by which we make electricity are still bad for the environment. Today, 63.5% of the fuels used to generate electricity are fossil fuels. So the real problem is still there, just in a different way.
