There are only a handful of people on KZbin imho, that can truly create with the jelly plate. You are one of them. I so love the way you explain, and talk thru your thinking as to the whys of what, when and where of stamps and colors. You also magnificently demonstrate that simple handmade stamps are all you really need. Thank you for sharing your heart with a random bunch of strangers.

Thank you for your kind words, I share because it’s my way of lightening the world a little and I want other artists who struggle with their creativity to know that they’re not alone, we all have doubts and little voices that say we’re not good enough. Hopefully I can support and inspire.

hi Ceri, our friend Gayle uses the wet wipes and paper towels and saves them to use in collgages.
@CeriGriffiths

I agree totally and I think as Gayle does recycle hers into her art then that’s a wonderful use of them and she should keep using baby wipes, I just know personally I was using them and throwing them away, so for myself I’ve made the change. As with everything I think it’s fine to use stuff if it can be utilised in another way. Thank you Eliza.

All the prints are beautiful. The last one however surprised the heck out of me. That one is a true work of art. It reminds me of a thunder storm. I also see some type of animal too, maybe a dog in the top left of the very end of video image on screen. You can make out the eye, mouth, ears, nose and I would say it's body also. Absolutely stunning.

Ceri, as usual the prints came out very well, especially the last one-my favorite. By the way, I read in a couple of places that the swatch of color with the black bars, on the top part of the front of the label on the Golden bottles, is the indicator of whether the color is opaque, transparent, or semi-transparent. I understand these swatches are hand-painted so if there is a difference between tubes, that is why. This is supposed to indicate the final dried color. Anyway, I thought that was interesting enough to share. I hope Biscuit is enjoying the outdoors. Many blessings to all!!!

@CeriGriffiths
@CeriGriffiths Жыл бұрын
I always say you can make small pieces of art on a large plate but you can’t make large pieces of art on a small plate, I use a 12x12 plate because at the time it was the largest my budget would stretch to but I now have plates in many sizes and use my 5x7 just as much as I use my 12x12. I use 12x12 paper or card stock which here in the UK I can buy as a blank pad, if you wish to make 12x12 on your larger plate then make sure you have other smaller pieces of card or paper around to make use of the edges of your painted surface that way you’ll be creating more than one piece at a time.
