I just want to reiterate that I am NOT in support of the pay to win direction Tibia is taking, I'm just not going to quit over this recent announcement. I hope they don't go any further down this path, but even I would consider quitting if they started offering more things that widen the gap between the basic premium account and someone willing to spend $100/month on the game.

These little boosts etc, are amazingly welcoming for a returning player like myself... and so many active players have like 100x days + more of vouchers... so I dont really see this as imbalanced or unfair... I started back in 2001, and played through to 2003 and quit inbetween to come back recently with sooo many changes. Highest level when I played was 200 ish... now there is a level 1000+... I need to catch up... I am currently only 76 returning, but with the boosts iv been able to power level to 100 with your video guides Eric, so thanks for that, but again, to everyone complaining about this, I dont think its a big like currently as long as they dont KEEP going down this route, but I think the boosts are good for people like me to keep up with voucher users and new content. P.S. I Work... and travel a lot and am extremely busy with my job.. therefore its nice to be able to keep up still with these methods..

That's kind of how I see it too. Sure, these boosts are here forever, but we've been playing with vouchers for at least 2-3 years now, and there are people that still have 100 day PAUSABLE vouchers. And vouchers give 100% more experience, while the boost only gives 50%. I think vouchers are more broken and am hoping that they will not be handed out anymore now that boosts are for sale.

Zeb, I was on antica but transferred to magera due to friends. One of my friends still has about 100 days of vouchers, and vouchers are definitely moren OP.. And they don't expire that fast.. People have been abusing vouchers for years. And Eric, I just checked out your sea serpents video, and man... That's a nice spawn for my EK! Thanks

Mchang3838 I'm still on Antica, 12 years and counting. There was no 100 day vouchers. The highest was 85 days when you adjusted from 17 days premium. It was the voucher connected to the 2013 DDOS attacks. That one expires next year.

Hey Eric, I do belive that if you're using the gold pouch you will anyways lose capacity, because in the description it says that you will be able to carry all the gold that you can cap.

I don't understand how the gold pouch works. does pouch just count as a bottomless backpack and still affect the capacity of your character? or does the pouch work as some sort of remote depot and makes the gold not affect your weight capacity? because if it doesn't affect your capacity this creates a huge help to cheaters who use Bots. right now when bots fill up on gold they might go back to bank. now they Can cap more supplies and bot longer. in my opinion the gold pouch helps botters

It can store as much money as your capacity allows you. So it wont be that overpowered

It affects your capacity, so I don't think it really helps botters all that much. Everyone just saves some cap from having to carry backpacks. A friend did bring up this point though: what if a botter makes a free account, gives it a plate set and a crimson sword, and then just bots 24/7 with a pouch and if their bot dies it just goes back to the spawn? They would never lose their gold that way, and if they kept spare armor and weapons in their depot they would never have to worry about not being able to hunt. They could just stack money until they get deleted.

Hey Eric i enjoy your video alot ! thanks for keeping things up and explain it to us every time :) iam interrested on your oppinion about Cipsofts behavior.... i mean after the first massage from mirade it was totally clear that they dont change anything about the exp boost. (i personally like the idea that u can also get a little buff from an nps for 10% more exp or something for gold in some calculation of more gold if you have a higher lvl like 1000gp for lv 10char and 100.000 for a lv 100 or something becouse i think we have to mutch gold on every server. if this wasnt stackable with the exp boots it will be fine for me) i also think any kind of this implementation will be ok if the bots wich have infinite money are deletet. but i think as long every botter pay for prem they wont delete all... btw iam from candia and i feel my server is slowly dying whats up with other game worlds?

I couldn't tell you whether Tibia is dying as a whole, it sure feels like it, but Cipsoft's revenue continues to go up. There are definitely less players than the glory days in 2007~.

Hello @Eric I can see this update from Cipsoft 50% Open tibia servers to 99% because on open tibia server you dont get ban but here you do.

I left tibia before the crit hits update because of work, was planning to come back once I had the time but this pretty much killed my hype at all. Not only they are going full p2w on their decisions, but also you have to consider the fact that the people that get a bigger benefit with the previous updates are bot players. An example of this is the fact that you don't need to carry money anymore, which works great for the magebots training ml on an item store, also consider bot-heavy servers like secura, if cip deletes a bot account another one can be easily made and now with xp boost the new bot character will get more quickly to a good level. I wouldn't mind these updates that much if they were actually doing something about this...
