One thing I’ve found interesting in my studies is Hecate’s genealogy in Greek mythology. Her great grandmother is Gaia (Earth) who was invoked for prophecy bc she was chronic (of Earth), her grandmother is Phoebe who was the protector of the Oracle of Delphi before Apollo as well as goddess of prophecy, her daughter was Asteria goddess of divination by dreams, and from Asteria we get Hekate

Thank you for the messages. She has been giving me my power back. Before going into the dr i saw a you tube video with her name. I watched it then inside i got a message that hecate is here and I decided to look at my snake ring to accept her help and at that moment the dr made a mistake and Gave me to much epinephrine. I became dizzy and had to wait longer for my procedure. But then when i googled what it might do to me I realized that it had helped with a condition I had trouble getting treatment for and based on my home test for urine etc I know that it helped me. I was scared a bit when I started because I heard that Hekate was possessive/ I wasn't sure if I could work with anyone else. It's crazy how big of a lie that is ! I asked her about Araweelo-- an ancient Somali queen I now worship-- and she encouraged me to focus on talking to her / telling me she would step back from me a little bit so I could. I was having a bit of grief about my culture and how nearly everything about old east african paganism was destroyed when islam and/or christianity came in. Hekate seemed like she just wanted what was best for me then and Araweelo helped me a lot, and still does, and it was all very sweet. She can, at times, in my own experience, but not to the degree where She doesn’t want you worshipping or working with anyone else. A lot of what comes across as “possessive” at times is actually just Her being protective of Her people, and trying to keep us from being hurt, and that usually pertains more to close relationships rather than worship and professional relationships. But it also depends on the side of Herself that She shows you. I approached Her because I wanted help healing trauma, as well as someone who’d be willing to be my friend and companion along my journey. Because of that, She shows me a more fundamentally human side of Herself most of the time. That allows me, with my psychology and trauma, to build the emotionally close relationship that I need in order to trust Her enough for Her to help me heal. But other people might need Her to be a divine teacher, and thus see Her more divine side. She shows us the parts of Herself that we need to see, and I for one am grateful that She is willing to adapt to each person to guide them in the way that they need.

It's funny. I have her Goddess symbol tattooed on my ring finger. That is when I came to know her name. I can now look back and think of all the times she has been around me. The reason I got the tattoo was that I am a cancer sign and read I was ruled by the moon, and my husband called me Goddess.

I was literally writing this as you said it. She is the Creator God of this world. We are in an upside down, backward reality. Everything true is the opposite of what we're taught. She guides so we do the hard work. But we can still praise her without that. That's what I do. I respect her so much and I will worship her until the day I die. I don't feel it's right to call her a creator god, not really. I feel like exalting her too much is kind of bs. See her as a teacher, a guide, a mentor, someone you can learn from and understand. You say you have an issue with the worship aspect, but you say she's a creator god. Give yourself some credit, see the divinity within you and rise up and face life head on. I know that's what she wants. To all of us to understand our own power instead of giving it all up to her.

I have something I want to share. I was in the prec ss of sending a money wire to my sister in the states. I live in Canada. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. My sister was in dire need of this money. After several trips to the bank and feeling exasperated I was standing in the bank line. I was feeling so 😢. Next thing I know, an older lady all dressed in black. Her face was ghostly white with bright red lips. I knew immediately who she was I breathed a deep sigh of relief. I looked back at her, I couldn't believe who I was seeing. Long story short, everything went well and my sister got her much needed money and I have a wonderful memory. Ps A few days earlier, I found a key on the ground.

Like i talk to her throughout the day or when something comes to mind, like how i talk to my grandma who passed away (her urn is by my room). I think she popped up in my dream once (it was completely dark but it felt like her, very comforting). I was drawn to light a yellow candle for her and to me that felt odd.

Thanks for sharing your video! Hekate appeared to me in a dream about 5 years ago and i didnt know anything about her really. So i was shocked to see that the discription and symbols of her matched my dream perfectly. I started to leave offerings to her in a spot down the street and a torn piece of a random book showed up in that spot and i found my name on one of the characters had my same name. I dont have a common name in america so this was beyond coincidence to me. I started working with her and decided to sing at that spot every time i pass as the offering to her becasue i am a musician learning to not be shy about self expression. I feel her energy, especiall when im in trouble. I had been working with another deity, krishna and felt like their energies were opposite and wasnt sure how to work with them both so i stopped working with deities for a few years except for my little offering to hekate. I find so many things you have said are true to my experience with her and its making me realize that her energy has been here the whole time helping me grow even though I wasnt giving her attention. Becasue she picked me, i didnt pick her. And i had read that is very common with Hekate. She appeared in my dream with 3 heads merged into one and on each side of her there was a man with a blue crescent moon shaped head and they had a wonderful cool but bright glow. I said who are you? And she said thats not the proper way to address me and threw me out of the space. I found myself standing at a crossroads in the middle of the night surrounded by all kinds of goulies and criminals. I woke up and searched 3 headed goddess online and saw all of these pictures of hekate and knew it was her. When i started reading i found out about how she is seen as a tripple goddes of the crossroads and protector of underdogs, and even that her followers in ancient times were vegetatian and she was a protector of childbirth. And she helps people to see the truth and heal their shadow. Found out all my favorite herbs are hers and that eveb though Im not a dark person, she actually fits perfectly like everything in my life somehow fits with her energy. I work as a massage therapist and somehow always ending up being the prenatal massage therapist at every job. So it feels like everything in line with my lifes work is also contained in one of her symbols or aspects. I told her though, that I cant follow her blindly or do rituals when I dont even know who or what she really is but that i must know and seek the truth and if she can help me i welcome her. I think she liked this becasue she knows i wont give blind devotion but that everything i do give and dedicate is genuie from the heart and not trying to get anything from her. So looking back and seeing the ways she may have been helping all along makes mw very grateful. Thanks again for sharing her teachings in your video!

Really cool!! I have black and purple candles burning here on the altar. With the discipline thing, I think she once told me gently that she likes a style of music I'm into but not to misuse it. Also the dogs context could make perfect sense especially now, since some stray dogs come up to me to say hello. Even being barked at aggressively might be related. In my experience she always want the blueberry wine and it will always be in the house . Every month I ask her ,do I have to buy that and she never said no ! Always Yes .😅but with other liquor if I ask her do you want that ? and she will said “No” it’s very seldom she wants other kind of wine .my relationship with her is maybe different from you and others too because she always want something the same every time . The scent also ,she likes this certain perfume Midnight bloom of Victorias Secret(Moon Lovers ) . Every time ,I do meditation she wants me to spray that perfume . I wanted to say something about the "discipline" point. I have been working with Hekate for nearly three years now. I make new moon offerings and offer prayers every day as well as having a little chat as soon as I wake up. Doing intentional things in a consistent way has worked well for me. But I know that there are many who are triggered by the word discipline. Might I respectfully suggest a different D word - DEVOTION. She likes it when we show devotion.

As sometimes you won't feel like doing the work and if you don't...she won't help you out if you won't help yourself.
