If your fly isn't flat and has some pull at the top, say between the top button and the second from the top, is that an indication your fit is too tight?
@lt38802 ай бұрын
With how central the topic of denim care is maybe it is worthwhile to make an official guide/FAQ that you can link to on the product pages, much like the measurement guide is. Something that goes into detail about what to do/not and why and under what circumstances. Could also do a printed script to hand out to customers in store. Obviously denim isnt like wool where washing could dramatically impact the fabric, but raw denim guys can be particular about their look. I know there are loads of them online already, but having an inhouse one I imagine would save the effort of explaining again and again.
@NakedandFamousDenimАй бұрын
Oh yes, this needs to happen. But at the same time certain topics just need to be reiterated every now and then. Sometimes people don't find the old videos, or sometimes or thoughts and opinions on a topic changes too. We'll try to have a mix of both.

Still pretty new to this so how can you get good contrast fades but also not kill the life of your jeans? I am trying to get a balance to them if possible.
@skullcrusher5672 ай бұрын
G'day mate I someone in need of help bro I've been in this fading game for years and everybody is different in how they fade your favourites I've got about 8 pair of naked and famous jeans and all follow the way I fade them so this is how I do it so it's only a guide. What I do from day one you where them every day goin out to dinner down to the shops to work if you can not every body can but if you can do so in the afternoon for a couple of hours then when your Finnished hang them up by the belt loop it won't hurt them and then again the next day by walking around you are creating friction at the waist and back of the nees. in about a week you will see fade lines front and back that's the key fade lines. You will find when sit down you will Rube your jean just naturally so yer . I find spraying the inside with a fabric sanitised spray will get rid of any smell. It's recommended to not do the first wash for 6 months but I find that to long I go about 3 months and you will see results to your personal ware patterns im shore but you do you bro . When you wash I find gentle setting on the machine inside out your jeans and I find a soak in water for a minute before washing machine helps with vertical streaks but like I said just a recommendation mate it's all up to the your preferences but you will get hooked it's like a hobby and I love it I hope you got something that will help you with your fade journey.

Top-loading machines are more susceptible to wrinkling denim. My front-loading didn't do that to my jeans, but my new top-loading machine does. I have to steam them after they are line-dried.

I really wanna tsuriami knit cardigan that yous guys made in like 2011 still. What was i thinking when I saw a rare on online and let it go for $30😢 also I really wish I got the kos2 cause it was available in my size for almost the entire sale, but I grab 2 great pairs of jeans, the Sea Island Cotton Selvedge, and the all black comfort stretch in true guy, which is super fun to wear. Hopefully the blue comfort stretch in weird guy stays around in my size til it drops in price, because i would like to use the black comfort as more of a dress pant, like Terry was talking about a few weeks back, and use the blue comfort as my new recovery jeans for after working 10hrs in 22oz denim and wearing them for over 12 hours. They feel like 14oz yoga pants, lol. I'd sleep in them, but I don't want cat hair all over them. Fun stuff this denim addiction...

Do yr guys' jeans actually start to smell? Ive been sleeping in my midnight slub stretch selvedge, and i haven't washed them since May 22nd. I don't even notice a slight odor. I do wanna wash them again soon cause it's coming up on like 7 months of wear, mostly for leisure, and after work, but I want some of the fades to pop a bit.
@NakedandFamousDenimАй бұрын
If you are wearing them lightly they won't pick up smells so bad. If you are sweating in them all the time, and they are picking up grime, they'll start to smell fast.
@JoeyDecayАй бұрын
@@NakedandFamousDenim yeah. My pants get way too dirty at work to go sometimes a week without washing. When I'm welding, I'm usually using a grinder for a lot of stuff, and the metal dust gets built up in the material, which is not so great as you know. But yeah I guess my work and lifestyle is just different. I honestly thought sleeping in my jeans would cause them to smell but it's not been an issue. I started sleeping in my midnight slub stretch true guys cause I'd put them on after work and they would feel like pajamas, and my hotel AC was set to 69° F, so I'd just leave them on. Now I continue to sleep in them cause I like the feeling of being able to wake up and walk outside without thinking and being outside first thing has been very helpful and a good way to start the day.
@JoeyDecayАй бұрын
@NakedandFamousDenim Basically, my work jeans start smelling like a dirty construction site. I'll sweat in my jeans, and my boxers will be stained with indigo when I get home, haha. Especially with raw 2x1 twill denim. My bibs were bleeding like crazy this summer. Luckily, my trusty 8.25oz Blue Jay selvedge was there for me when I needed them most. I wish I got to work in them more this summer. I am dying to get back to work, but for some reason, when I went back in June, I was super depressed the whole time.
