Ah this confirms my assumption that the uniball one and the Zento have "grips" I love the inks on my Uniball F & P but can never write with it too long because my fingers slip down & it hurts my hands its too smooth. I got used to the zebra sarasa barrels. Will definitely get me the grippy Ones or Zento versions now. Thanks Mike!

Without a doubt, many of the other Uni One inks are not rich in color like you find with the black. Also, Uni's website uses words like "smooth" and "quick-dry" when describing the ink for their Zento, but trust me, the ink used for the Zento is subpar. It comes out dark but dries to a dull line. If you like the Zento, I recommend swapping the cartridge that comes with it with the black in that comes in the Uni One.

Hmm. It does dry a little matte, but it's way better than most of my One refills.

I really adore the one p. Haven’t had any grip issues with mine. Maybe I have smaller hands?

Do you like the Zento refill enough to put it in one of your maker pens?

Maybe so. I like the way that they write. I just kinda wish it weren't black ink, as I don't use black that much. Really, the body on these is very nice, so I'll probably just use them as-is.

I have absolutely no problem with the P not gripping, perhaps because I have little hands.😏

Or maybe my hands are too dry? I don't know. I just want it rubberized!

Washi tape on the grip of the P? I like it fine as is
