A great tutorial, my brother in whistledom :) The Waltons tinwhistle is a great and inexpensive starting instrument. I've been a whistleplayer for about 8 years now (both tin whistles and low whistles + the irish flute), my current whistle of choice is a Burke (though it's much more expensive) but I always love coming back to the sweet, mellow tone of a Waltons tin whistle :) (also the top "coating" peeled off so it looks nice and aged) Are you also planning on looking into tin whistle "ornamentation" yourself? (cuts, taps, rolls etc...) If you want some tips, I'd love to help you out.
