Lupinranger vs. Patranger is such a good season. I should watch it again TwT Funny thing is that Kamen Rider Decade explains how the Rider and Sentai worlds are mostly separate. Even though some seasons do crossover or happen to be in the same universe/continuity, there are worlds where every season has its own timeline as well.

Fun Fact: The Singer who sang the Gekirangers opening is the same singer that sangs the opening of Dragon Ball Z Kai. You can hear the music melody on the background feel similarities between those 2 opening sang by the same singer. He also sings the First ending of Dragon Ball Z Kai as well. Plus I want to point out what Gekiranger and Dragon Ball Have in common: 1. Both are Martial Arts theme 2. Both are also from Bandai & Toei

Ultraman Z kicks so much ass, but if you wanna be Completionists about it, Z is also connected to Ultraman Zero and Ultraman Geed, so you could start with all of Zero's movies (Zero didn't exactly get a show of his own, instead he got movies and miniseries) to see his adventures and fights against Belial. then move on to Geed to see Belial's Genetic offspring try to redeem himself in the eyes of the universe with a little help from Zero. THEN you could watch Z and experience Zero's deciple becoming a hero in his own right. Or you could just watch Z, it works fine in a vacuum too.

1:40 Close but the actual story was after MMPR’s first 40 episodes, they ran out of Zyuranger footage and commissioned Toei to create new action footage which is commonly referred to be fans as “Zyu2” evidently when season 2 of MMPR came out they mixed what ever Zyu2 footage and Dairanger action footage they could use with them evidently bringing the White ranger suit into the fold so they could use more Dairanger fight footage.

Brad Hawkins was originally supposed to play the new white ranger and JDF was going to lead a new show called cybertron which would evantually become vr troopers. gaogaigar's opening huh? i love all of them, but if they want the same energy as Ultraman Z's opening, i'll say skip the original series opening and just go for the finals, Grand Glorious Gathering, and the new one for the Hakai-ou series tbh, masaaki is kinda weaksauce in that first one. hell, if you guys read these, the name's of the song is "Yuusha-Ou Tanjou" with extra extension on the back, like "Kyuukyoku Mythology ver." or "Juvenile Ver.". if i'm right, there's 6 ver. of this song now, including the original and the perfect ver. which has a lot of shouting from the voice actors.

If I may make two recommendations… 1. Now that they have gotten their feet wet, reacting to a handful of Sentai openings, let them hear the full versions of each one they have already heard. I’m curious if they would change their rating, at least of the songs, if they get to hear the full versions. 2. damn, you guys are really just my gang with all of these masaaki endoh appretiation across the board. that's endoh for ya though, always go 300% on his songs. like, dude sing for a robot anime where the power source was Horniness, and he sing the opening like his life depends on it (Kenzen Robo Daimidaler if you need a title). well, i already mention most of Endoh songs that i want you to heard/react to a few video back, but did you know that he ALSO do a bunch of insert songs, and covers for old, legendary song, like Fist of the North Star's "Ai wo Torimodose"? hell, dude has his own ver. of "Go Go Power Rangers", so that's a LOT of grounds to cover if you wanna make this few month Masaaki Endoh-focused.

A couple of points for Dekaranger vs SPD. 1) Yep, we see the sixth ranger's face in this, because in the Sentai, he's simply from another branch of the organization. His original branch was the Special Crimes Countermeasure Division. 2) The Dekaranger Kruger (spelt with a K, whereas SPD Cruger was spelt with a C) was actually an interesting take on a suit because it was designed to be a character first, so for things like flashbacks or other scenarios, they either had alternate versions of the suit or it was more modular to accommodate clothing changes. 3) Emperor Grumm, Mora and Omni were Power Rangers exclusive villains. The lead villain of SPD was adapted as Broodwing, which is why he was such an active threat in that season. Like Broodwing, Agent Abrella was a big name black market arms dealer. 4) Dekaranger's summer movie has the ranger with the dubious honor of 'Shortest Screentime as a Ranger' with DekaGold, who lasted all of one second because she was immediately blasted out of her ranger form.

If you need a recommendation for an Ultraman series to watch, I suggest Ultraman Blazar. Also as part of the recent line of series, Blazar is only 25 episodes, which isn't too long. It's really recent, aired in 2023. It can be watched on its own since it got the basic concepts on what Ultraman is, and also on its own, no connection to the other series. Other ones you can watch without needing to watch other Ultraman Series I recommend are: - Ultraman Tiga - Ultraman Gaia - Ultraman Nexus - Ultraman Max - Ultraman (1966)

oh my, if only someone out there made a super long video compiling every ultraman op is one place in hd quallty with subtitles and a tierlist to go with it so you all could watch and rank them along together _cough cough i did_ lol. anywho, ultraman stuff is generally a lot more connected with each other than rider and sentai tends to be, characters and plot points from any time in the past can and do just randomly show up without warning and expect you to know whats happening, this happens a lot in Z so i dont really recommend it as a starter. instead, ultraman max from 2005 is a really good starting point for being a great show in general that blends the old with the new, lighter stories with darker ones and still remaining beginner friendly. alternatively ultraman x from 2015 is a shorter season with a solid story in and of itself, but features several guest characters from the past returning and providing you with multiple glimpses into the wider ultraman universe.

Ultraman has some really good seasons, but they're more similar to each other than Super Sentai or Kamen Rider seasons are. My favourite Ultraman seasons are Z, Blazar, and Geed. If I were to suggest one to watch, to be the first Ultraman series you watch, Z, Geed, or Tiga.

I personally recommend ultraman zero, orb, and mebius. Mebius and orb pay tribute to the past ultra's but in their own way as gai ultraman orb was celebratory ultraman for the 50th anniversary of original ultraman and the 20th anniversary of ultraman tiga. Ultraman mebius was basically the last ultra to do 50 episodes and he would of been the last ultraman as tsubrays was low on funds so a last fair well to ultraman but miraculously boosted the popularity of ultraman. Zero and mebius help save the ultraman series before they got obsess over selling toy's and other merchandise. Zero Is the son of ultraman seven and is made to be a youthful and power ultraman a jack of all traits basically the golden boy in his first appearance but he doesn't have his own series if you don't count zero chronicles but appears in a lot if movies and other ultraman shows.

If Lupin vs Patranger were adapted to PR, they would have given it a bland 1 minute jingle opening possibly made up mostly with the word "GO". One thing I love about Sentai, they have full songs that represent the essence of the show, not just some lame slapped in intro.
