I bought the matte foundation paired it with the top faced concealer and it was just a perfect combo. Their concealer is matte but still gives you a little glow. I have dry skin and I loved the finish ☺️

Personally I liked how the matte looked on you towards the end of the day! It was smoother and I almost feel like you could see a bit more texture with the original foundation. Also the color for the matte foundation was very on point! I think the shade you used in the original foundation seemed the teeny tiniest bit light and pulled more yellow than your actual undertone. Either way you made it work and looked amazing! Great content girl 💖

Great review! Loved the side by side comparison. I am a fan of both but I stopped using the original because it was really crazy with the transfer for me. I tried a hydrating primer with the matte one and it definitely made a difference. Looked more natural and not as drying.

I found the matte born this way foundation, (I'm an oily skin type) the only one at tj maxx I was super thrilled only $14.99 and the shade was swan, might be too light for me but with some bronzer I can make it work 😊

I tried the original a year ago and wasn’t a fan but i tried it again recently and I love it 💕 My skin went from being oily my whole life to normal dry. So I think it depends on your skin type and preference on which you’ll like. The sculpting concealer is a favorite too.

They both look fantastic, but I think I'd go with the matte version. This is why; you can always make it look more Dewey with a hydrating, glass skin like primer, etc but when we need our foundation to last this is it. Waterproof, transfer resistance...sign me up! Thanks for the review girl 🤗👍❤💯

I feel like there’s less creasing going on with the matte side under your eyes. Iono if you have less lines there or if it’s the makeup but honestly both sides look flawless! I do feel like the original does look a lot healthier and smooth with a natural glow. Ugh I just hate it cause it tends to break apart on me in my oily areas but it does wonders for my dry areas! Hi Jas, I totally agree when you first applied the foundation the Matte side looked a little dull and heavy, but once you applied the rest of your makeup the Matte side looked so good and it held up really well👍🏽. I noticed that with dewy anything to build it up you have to wait for the first layer to settle a bit in order to layer and get more full coverage idk if you have tried that, oh and make sure your sponge is not soaking wet make sure it's just damp, but at the end of the day it depends on our skin right lol hopefully one ends up working for you because the ingredients are really good for your skin unless allergic of course

Thanks for doing more videos in natural lighting! 🙌🏼 They both look gorgeous on you but here’s what I noticed: the matte shade looks more uniform with your neck and chest but your itty bitty pores that I don’t think I’ve ever even seen were more emphasized. The original looks so smooth, juicy and more skin like. My mom has been using the original for a couple of years now and she doesn’t get shiny even though she has an oily t zone. So skipping on the matte for her!
