Seems like a generalised park side tools advert The bottom line of this test is they are both exactly the same bar one comes with the battery and the other doesn’t There is absolutely no discernible difference between the two ,They both perform adequately and are well made…I would have liked to see the Parkside ratchet being tested against the professional standard Milwaukee powered ratchet which would have measured the true worth of the Parkside…I have both and there is little difference in their performance except that the Milwaukee ran out of power before the Parkside which I can only put it down to the Milwaukee being over 2 years old and charged regularly during its use
@BrokeLifeEUАй бұрын
I do apologise that it seems that way! It was not my aim, I did compare the old and new version as I had easy access to both. I understand why you would want to see a video in which I compare it against say a Milwaukee, however I felt that was not a fair comparison for two reasons. 1 The Parkside I feel is strictly a DIY brand of tools, whereas the Milwaukee ratchet would be way above that. 2. The price difference is vast. I am invested in to the Parkside ecosystem, because it is the one I can afford and I can't reasonably spend money on a Milwaukee ratchet. So I figured most people looking in to this ratchet could not set aside the amount for a Milwaukee so I thought that it would be irrelevant for them to know how the Parkside performed against the Milwaukee. I thought it was best just to show what the two Parkside ratchets were capable of. I hope you understand where I am coming from. Also I would like to thank you for the time you have spent watching the video and for your feedback! I was really happy to read your comment! Thank you for your time!

Thanks for your reply , it's just that I find that kind of music offensive to my ears and I see another youtuber found the same thing, When you post up a video do you apply the music or is it KZbin that does it, Because I wanted to hear what your comments were and hear how much noise the tool made , I do like to build quality of Parkside tools but dont no much about them, I myself have three Milwaukee 18v tools 4amp Batteries and one at 5amp for jobs that are more demanding , The build quality of these tools is up there where it counts and have never let me down, so a battery powered 1/2" ratchet may be an option .
@BrokeLifeEU6 ай бұрын
I understand completely. I would be annoyed too. I applied the music so I only have myself to blame for that. I am still new to making videos so it is difficult to gauge how loud the music should be. Furthermore I use it with the purpose of covering some sound abnormalities which occur when filming outside with a non professional microphone. I did try without music and the sound of wind and other such noses are not pleasant at all. Now about the ratchet. I have not used Milwaukee tools - too poor for that. But I am sure that they must be a lot better than the Parkside stuff. However in this case I think you will be pleasantly surprised with this Parkside ratchet. I got it for 35 EUR inch tool, battery and charger. It is not too loud but you can definitely hear it over some louder voices. Also this ratchet is a 3/8" drive and comes with an included 1/2" adaptor, however that makes the business end of it longer which for a tool meant to fit in to tight spaces is not ideal.
@standonald51456 ай бұрын
Hello again , I kinda feel a bit guilty about my first comment on the awful music, I was given a Milwaukee 18v 4amp drill, battery, charger, and the tool case, but the drill was faulty, So I sent off the printed circuit board and trigger to see if it cold be repaired and it turned out it was not repairable , So I then bought a New drill unit , just the drill as I had everything else , The bare unit cost £90 that was a lot of years ago realising the quality of the tool drove me to save up and buy another of my choice at a later date , a Battery 1/2" 3/8" ratchet tool would be very handy in some situations , GOOD LUCK making more videos in the future , but in my opinion get a better mike with a cover for it and dont apply any music more people than me cant abide listening to it they want to hear what you are telling them about what you are posting up, I live Edinburgh Scotland uk .

@@standonald5145 Don't worry about it! It's constructive criticism and part of my KZbin learning journey. However I don't know for what reason but Lidl seem to be quite hesitant to bring many Parkside tools to the UK. I hope it will not be so with this one and it will be available in the UK. Just a basic one from aliexpress. I can find you the link if you wish. It was about €30.

@@efektmurowany I think it was this one option 3 with range from 10Nm to 340Nm. On the other hand there is the same type of tool from Parkside that came out recently. Had I known about it at the time I would have bought the Parkside one. Pretty much same price but also has a warranty to go with it. Link: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006190413673.html

You are welcome! Yes in terms of prices I was also looking for the cheapest option. I could not find anything below €30.

I always buy power tools from well-known manufacturers, some of them Makita Metabo Snapon. All unknown things are a waste of money, the salesmen can say whatever they want. In fact, after a non-functioning tool, you buy the one that works.These high-quality tools are not sold in grocery stores, but in specialized tool stores.

I fully agree! In this case you hve a warranty which does mean that for 3 years after your purchase you either get your money back or a new tool. Which also has some down sides, because I would always prefer as you said to have a functioning tool instead of being refunded for a defect. However look at it this way, this kit cost me €35, whereas one from for example Aliexpress will cost quite a bit more. The batteries in them are questionable at best and you won‘t be able to use in any other tool. And for sure we can‘t even speak of a warranty. That being said I have mentioned many times that if I could afford and justify the cost for occasional use as is the case with me I would go Milwaukee for sure!

Meh...the best tool is the one you have in your hands

@@evanleebodies I have been deceived by the MMA welding machine, the esab body arc 180, it did not meet my expectations. I bought the Fronius TP 180 RC MMA electrode welding. I am very satisfied with it, it is like night and day. Likewise, with the disc cutter with which to cut metal, at first there was also a cutter from X manufacturer .I bought a Metabo disc cutter and it can't even be compared to the X device. In general, it's like how you pay for such a tool. The choice is up to each person!

@@rihovaher I get it, but Parkside tools are not really meant for heavy professional use. For a DIYer they are adequate. The only one that has let me down is a tyre inflator which burnt the brushes out. The best one I've bought is a flux core welder which for occasional DIY use is very good.
