Congratulations! You fucked up a song that was almost perfect either way. Here are some reasons: • There are NUMEROUS unnecessary melodies scattered throughout the song that don't work well with each other, mixed and matched like a Frankenstein's Monster of sorts. • Important parts that made the song original, like news reports, old lore, and John Walter's voice lines have been removed. • The primary, and most memorable tune has been severely underutilized, only present in Eggman's part and entirely absent from Sonic's, leaving more room for the chaos of nonsense surrounding it. • Melodies have been drowned out for showiness, resulting in a cacophony of noises and effects that burn right over the melodies that they were trying to make work. --- Only the beginning and Eggman's section maintain a coherent melody. Overall, you've somehow needlessly dumbed down Top Loader, whilst also overcomplicating it, and I genuinely have no idea how the song writers managed to do this. And although the climax/ending is executed well, it doesn't even come close to redeeming this mess. Whilst trying to create something original, you turned Top Loader into an amalgamation of tunes, of random bullshit that doesn't make sense and something that I can barely consider a song because it changes its melodies and everything about it every 7 seconds. This isn't Top Loader, this is whatever melody came to mind to the composer at the time slapped onto the song with a gleaming glitchy effect finish, maintaining NONE of the original personality the song have. You've turned Top Loader into a Sonic.Exe stereotype. Congratulations.

My rant is solely aimed at the composers for this song and this comment will be pasted to the official release, if there even was one. To me, the news reports were just really grating and annoying to listen to. I like that this take has an iteration of a creepypasta that favors more gameplay over listening to some random kids that got killed. It's just unnecessary bloat to an already long song with very few events.

​@@pancakes8767well tbh, its unnecessarily long now, I know the original top-loader was also 7 minutes, but they could've just cut the new report out and make the song like 3-4 minutes since its just sonic has passed. The song's pacing is weird too, theres no cohesive flow to it which also brings it down. The ending is also quite a let down cause of the sudden pause(somari) that ruins the pacing even further, and the ending swing section isnt as impactful imo.
