I think Pikachu is one of the easiests buffs in the game. Just scale up the bases of its moves a bit and touch a little bit the scalings and give it real auto attacks like something that does good damage, maybe with Elde like autos it would be fine. (If they reworked the passive it would be fine too...)

For a supporter battle pass, I've been wanting a specific one for some reason lol I wanna see DJ Mr. Mime, and the effects during his unite move would be him turning up his music and break dancing during it. To buff Pikachu I’d rework volt tackle so it is a two tap move, the first time increases your movement speed and the second launches the move and allows you to reposition like Cinderace Blaze Kick, then for the Unite it increases the slow of the enhanced basics and gives you free enhanced basics for a short time, then I’d give it a little more hp and defense

I primarily play Thunderbolt and Thunder on Pikachu and I wouldn't buff it much because I already think it's one of the most slept on builds in the game. I would just increase the damage a bit on both moves and that's it.

To answer the buff question, I think Thunder and Thunderbolt need to be combined into the same move. Stuns in first hit, damages for the rest. Then another move for where thunderbolt was. If you compare it to other mages, a lot of their attacks are more powerful than thunder/bolt combined. As far as Volt Tackle and E-Ball go, e-ball is fine. Volt tackle needs to let you adjust position like blaze kick.

Realistic Pika buffs: 1. Have Volt Tackle work the same as Blaze Kick. And give a breif speed increase after use. 2. Increase Thunders damage by 10%. 3. Increase its Unite cooldpwn by 5% (kinda crazy but Pika IS its unite move) Unrealistic Buffs: Rework Pika entirely. Give it a split Evo at level 4 with Raichu. Make Pika more speed based with moves and Raichu slower but high special attack power.

I think it would be fitting to buff Pikachu with a signature item, like Zacian has Rusted Sword. Light Ball, in the mainline games, give Pikachu a higher special attack than Raichu, and the mascot could be given a similar Zacian treatment - at the risk of overdoing Pikachu's prominence

I would insert PIKAball item, only for pikachu, and that transform their moves in PIKAvolt and PIKAball. And make them say PIKA even when it walks, it will be so op that everyone will quit the game instantly

I think a good indirect buff for Pikachu because of all the guaranteed hit moves would be a +200 movement across the board of all the pokemon. For Pikachu specifically I would add a split Evo if you choose Thunder your passive changes to lightingrod making you get increased Att/SpAtt when taking damage and you would have 100 extra Defense but 1 sec longer cooldowns

Pika is a fast pace attacker, going in and out of battles easy with causing good if not insane damage, would buff movement speed and/or more CC or stun duration making it more annoying

Let’s buff pika with a one second cooldown reduction to both Thunder and Thunderbolt, make stun on thunderbolt slightly longer and give it more damage output. Pika is super squishy for the amount of damage it gives.

i think pikachu could get away with keeping its damage where it's at and dropping its unite move to level 8 instead. really have it lean into the stun support attacker thing. and if that's too much for it, make the cooldown of volt tackle a second or two longer, but with all the stuns in the game right now i don't think volt tackle is really all that problematic as it is.

Pikachu's biggest weaknesses are low mobility and a lack of options once you use your 2 moves. You're just helpless. I prefer VT/EB build so I would make volt tackle like cinder's blaze kick or blastoise's surf where you can choose where you jump to instead of going back to your starting point. I'd also decrease its cooldown maybe by 1 second. Then I'd give electro ball some healing for sustain. Increase the slow a teeny bit so you have a chance of escaping a mon that jumps on you. Or even make it multi-hit give it 2 or maybe even 3 charges

I think my top 5 most wanted battlepasses are Garchomp, Charizard, Wigglytuff, Absol, and Zeraora atm I don't think Absol and Wiggly need buffs though (but small buffs on Wiggly would be neat) but I would really like to see new holowears on them If the passes came with buffs, for Garchomp I'd probably hope for buffs on the ground build. Stat buffs/rework would be nice maybe but I find the former more fresh and exciting Zeraora I'd just adjust leveling and Zard maybe minimal stat buffs for early game? There's a lot that they could do with them that could be pretty cool though

I think a cool pika buff would be giving Pikachu move speed on KO with Electroball and a move speed buff if Thunder hits 3 times. (Whether its 3 pokemon once, or one pokemon 3 times) Pikachus damage and move kit is good already.

Pika is a pretty balanced mon but he does need a tune up. They definitely need to buff his lassive and boosted to make their effects last longer. If they wanna get alittle crazy, they can make pikas moves 4,6 and 8 for its unite since it does way less damage for its class and has no movement option. Ofcourse the necessary buff would deffinitely be to allow repositioning on volt tackle like blaze kick.

To buff pika I’d give him 1 second off all his moves except for the unite move then I’d give him a small sp.atk buff then I’d give him higher hp and defensive stats and finally I’d give him a 75% movement speed buff after he uses his unite move

Volt tackle: Bounce of where you want reduce cd by 2sec give it evasion for the brief moment you go in and are on top of the enemy Stun duration nerfed by 1/3rd of the duration (Pikachu is also on the enemy for less time (Maybe make it a aimable skill that is fairly easy to hit because you move in very faster) Electroball: While using the move you only get slowed down by like 50% instead of being held in place Thunderbolt: Decrease AOE size by 15% Decrease cd by 1 second instead of locking Pikachu in place slow him down by 50% Thunderstorm: Decrease cd by 1 second Increase AOE size by 20-35% Decrease its damage by 20-30% Slows enemies down by 20% Lowers enemies stun resist by 20%
