New TOYOTA CENTURY SUV (2024) redefines the luxury in the SUV segment for $170,000

This is the all new Toyota Century SUV 2024 interior and exterior presentation. Toyota Century SUV price is ~$170,000, and only 30 units will be built each month. Toyota Century SUV can be ordered with rear doors that open to a 75-degree angle or, alternatively, there are minivan-like electric sliding rear doors.
Toyota Century SUV is powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain based on a 3.5-liter V6 engine, with a CVT and all-wheel drive, thanks to a rear-mounted electric motor. It produces 406hp.

This product is going to be a real trouble for Range Rover, Mercedes Benz, Bmw, and Audi. Toyota is targeting the whole new audience base by trying to fill the gap between the premium suvs and high-end luxury vehicles like Rolls Royce and Bentley. Good approach towards the market

@@recanything When I bought my wife an Outback 2 years ago for her 50th birthday, I thought I was never going to find one with Tan interior, but I finally did. I had the choice of a Red metallic or a Cinnamon Brown. I would have chosen the Red, but I know my wife well enough, so I surprised her with the Cinnamon Brown Pearl with the Ivory leather interior. I then had it pinstriped with “gold” (Tan). Last year when I was needing to replace my old RAV4 Limited, (it was Gold with Tan leather), I decided to buy a new Forester Touring with the Saddle Brown Leather interior. I couldn’t find a new one anywhere that was Bronze with the Brown interior. I did find a Certified Subaru (2019) with only 4,700 miles that is the color combo that I was looking for, so I bought it. Heck it saved me $6K over buying a new one, so I’m satisfied with my decision. We had been driving Toyota’s for 40+ years but every winter we had to put studded snow tires on them even though they were 4WD and AWD. With our Subaru’s we simply drive on the factory tires year round and have never had any problems with traction. Last December the factory tires on the Outback needed replacing so I had Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires installed. We liked them so much that I had a set put on my Forester as well. They’re Awesome tires on wet, dry, slushy and snow roads. Their a quiet tire and they don’t decrease the mpg. If Toyota would start using Subaru’s symmetrical AWD system, they would go anywhere. Or if Subaru would start using Toyota’s hybrid system then they too would be unstoppable.

@@recanything Since 1990 every automaker has been shoving gloomy grey or death black as the standard interior colors down everyone’s throats. They were great colors 34 years ago, but Everyone is sick and tired of it. Our 11 Ford Ranger XLT super cab 4WD had Gloomy Grey and Boring Black interior, so I had it reupholstered to match the custom 2 tone paint. The interior is now Red with black stitching and trim, while the exterior is Silver over Red metallic. I LOVE the Tan interior in that Century. It makes it so classy and rich looking. It’s Gorgeous !
