No, The Fortuner is not sold in the US, Canada and in most European countries.. Instead in the US & Canada you get the 4runner...which is almost as equivalent to the Fortuner. Infact the 4runner is a much better equipped and a good overall SUV than the Fortuner, the only drawback is that the 4runner is only offered as a 5 seat/passenger variant vehicle, whereas the Fortuner seats up to a maximum of 7persons and is offered as the 7 seater SUV. Engine specs wise in most Right hand drive Asian countries as seen in this video the Fortuner only comes with a 2.7 liter petrol (gasoline) engine or a 2.8 liter diesel engine, where as in most Left hand drive countries where the Fortuner is available they do offer two variants of the petrol(gasoline) engine trims one in the base 2.7 liter and as well as 4.0 liter V6 gasoline engine. Which in terms of engine specification manner is close to the 4runner.
