which car would you recommend for some who like supercars, luxury, and speed but also don't want to flash a lot and something that you could take for meeting and drive it when you are out evening like a night club? keeping in mind also it has to be within reasonable budget not i millions of dollars

How you thought about the BMW 8 series? More expensive would be the Mercedes AMG GT 4 door, 53 for example. Depending what you are looking for in terms of comfort and space

Hmm Macan GTS comes to my mind, GTS brings the best out in Porsche models in my opinion. When it comes to having a daily, that is. Another great one, a lot more luxurious in my opinion is the Range Rover Sport SVR.

A very delicate, perhaps 50/50 combination of analytical approach and genuine "car girl" inner inspiration. Your ability to express the values of the car in brief (without going into distracting detail) is outstanding. And I agree with other commenters - this review of the Supra GR was rather original and frank, without the identity dilemmas that have distracted from what is essentially a brilliant product, as you confirm. I must admit when I first saw the new Supra I wasn't to shore on the looks of the car, especially from the front. But I think I might be coming around to the looks of the new Supra. It does look good in yellow. It's great to see that you getting on those press trip. It must be great jetting off to another country and then get to drive all those different cars? Great review and some amazing filming, Your videos are top quality but you somehow improve on it to make it better and better. I love that you somehow take some time out of your busy life to read our comments and to reply to most of them, Hardly any KZbinrs do that. Your channel should have a lot more subscribers. Keep up with the amazing work. :-)

Hi Jason, thank you, so lovely to see you again. I think there has been a little too much of the negative and it has taken a while for people to warm up. When I saw Supra for the first time at the Geneva Motor show this year, I thought it looks spectacular. But when I have gone down to this underground parking and saw about 30 of them together, oh my oh my! Filming beautiful cars in different locations - absolutely fantastic. But I always wish there was a little bit more time, but I am forever grateful for these opportunities :-)

Girl on Swiss Roads you might be right about press negative on the Supra at the start which doesn’t help. I guess everyone has there vision what a Supra should be in there mind and what it is which probably hasn’t helped matters. But it does sound awesome when you put your foot down. Wow 30 of them. Did you not take one home with you? I mean they not going miss 1 of them are they? 😉😄. I would of thought it will be a awesome car going on those gorgeous Swiss roads.

Ciao Arturo, muchas gracias. I couldn't agree more. They wouldn't have done it otherwise. Best of both worlds, if you ask me. Yet, I feel Toyota has really kept its flavour. It feels ever so Japanse, no question about it. Z4 is a very different car, having driven it in Portugal recently.

I remember one of my first company cars a 1992 red Supra, I felt I’d arrived. It was a step up from my old Vauxhall Cavalier and I loved it. This latest Supra however im not sure about. Is it a BMW or a Toyota?

It's a Toyota. It's a Supra. The gearbox is from BMW, so is the suspension, but beat in mind, Toyota has tuned both and feel very different to BMW ❤️

It's a BMW B58 inline 6 engine with a Toyota body. Granted it's a good engine but it's not Toyota if you ask me.

I don't mind about the engine, because it has been tested in japan during years. It is refreshing to see a positive review where people are not blinded by the Supra name and his weight. Anna - a lot of BMW content in that cabin, switch gear and sat nav look familiar, and I am guessing BMW under the hood and transmission also, so would it be a new M4 or Supra? Supra would be more exclusive, M4 more capable? Decisions!

Hi Steve, yes, there are a lot of BMW elements in the cabin, slight differences but overall, I actually like this look. German with a Japanese flavour. The gearbox and suspension used are similar to the ones used in BMW, but Toyota has tuned both. And oh boy, for much better!

Toyota actually had to redesign 80% of the engine components that were not meeting Toyota durability requirements...Even the the nuts and bolts were not up to specification and had to be reinforced. This is a well sorted car now. It almost didn't happen becasue BMW didn't understand Toyota and there was a lot of misunderstandings. I think they pulled it off and the car is better for it.

You've done the best job selling me that the new Supra deserves a look. My first car was a 106K Gen 1 Supra and my dream car was a new 1985 Gen 2, waaaay before loving Supras was cool. Later, my salesman got a ticket doing 120 mph starting a test drive in a white 1987 Gen 3 Supra Turbo. That car would be fast today. I was in still in college and decided I could only afford an MR2. I think the new Supra will migrate Toyota drivers into true sports car enthusiasts, though it might ultimately benefit BMW's future customer base more than it helps Toyota. Aspects I love about this GOSRs review: your visceral reactions show the driving dynamics like other reviewers can't; the usual gorgeous scenery; great info and specs. Makes me want to get a little sideways, too. Toyota's 5Y gives you an extra year on the drivetrain, savvy point, lets hope they don't regret it. Ha! Super job with this review/preview and congrats quickly getting your gloves on the next chapter of a sports car legend! Looking forward to your next review.
