New toys keep rescue African Grey distracted from plucking for three hours

Jack was absolutely mesmerised by her coloured plastic blocks - I have honestly never seen her so into a toy before. She played with it for three hours on the kitchen floor last night - when she finally got bored, she flew up on the counter and bullied Gerry the Giraffe.

Disclaimer - individual parrot caretakers are responsible for the health and wellbeing of their birds. Jack is always supervised when playing with new toys, and I made the decision to remove the smaller pieces of plastic from the box because they were giving me some anxiety. This toy is aimed at parrots - Jack loves it. But I would not feel comfortable with her using it unsupervised at this time.
