So... those 2 Kyle tpbs are going to be collected in a compendium next year, and if that compendium sells well, there will be (according to ron marz) a second compendium with previously uncollected material

Yeah I had heard about the compendium but not until after I had purchased these but I'm okay with that. Would be nice to see the unreleased stuff collected though. Hopefully that second one happens.

I think James Patrick is a decent writer, but Astronaut Down was a very on the nose, and lazy allegory to the pandemic. Something I’m VERY tired of hearing about, much less reading in a comic because so many people did that over the past couple years. I have the Infinity War and Infinity Gauntlet omnibuses. They’re both some of the thickest I own.

I tried finding the Infinity War omni but was either unavailable through retailers or was finally expensive on Ebay. Most likely out of print. As for Astronaut I figured there was going to be some kind of allegory for either global warming or something of that nature. But, as long as I find the story good I can forgive on those nose allegories but we'll see. It's the next in my read pile.
