I'm here as well. Was planning to go back home to London this Sat, but.... Looks like i'm stacked here for some more days. All flights are cancelled already. Hope to see my family again sometime. At the same time i've no strenght to panic. It's much better, when you've to save your body and mind energy. All i can say - our lives are in God's hands. P.S. I still love Florida. Clermont will probably be north of the eye and damage is always less if you are north of it. In 2004 in Hurricane Charley when it went thru Orlando like it is going to do this time Clermont did OK. You will get less wind if the eye is south of you. If the eye goes over Clermont, it would be worse. It all depends where that eye and eyewall goes.

It will hit as a category 2, the eye will go south of Orlando, but they're will be a lot of rain. Comparable to Ian, if not worse.

It pretty clear if you watch most of the Tampa news, they don’t give a dam about anybody south.

No one knows for sure they are speculating.

I think the winds are going to be higher than the 50s. When Hurricane Charley hit Orlando in 2004 it was a 145 mph hurricane, when it got to Orlando it was 110 mph. We had high winds, hurricane force winds in the right eyewall, we had rain and we did have a few tornadoes. It all depends where that eye and eyewall goes. If you are in the eyewall, it is going to be rough. Winds were howling in the right eyewall that went over Kissimmee, lots of trees down, tree branches down.

Disney really cleaned up fast in Charley. They like to get open as soon as they can. So that was helpful to the area.
