Does anyone else find sim racing content releases like this really weird? Like, it's not fun being drip fed tracks that are in every other game, and then given their own fancy trailer as if it's this big deal. Daytona exists as payware for iR, rF2, AMS2, and Raceroom. It's on-disc content in pCars 2, plus multiple releases of Forza, and Gran Turismo. You can get it as a mod for AC, rFactor, and Race 07. Kinda sucks that the game has been "out" for a year and the "major new update" is... a track we already have in every other sim. I just don't get it man. Maybe I hate fun, but is it going to be 2037, and Rennsport 5 will announce "new track: daytona!" We're at that point now.

It's just a track showcase, how is this a big release? People make showcase videos for their mods and the only comment they get is "looks awesome can't wait to try it keep doing the good work" no matter how bad it looks or even if it's just a port for example from rbr to AC they get all the fame they can dream of and yet, people's negativity towards Rennsport from whatever reason I can't understand is as common as hype around random AC mod made in 10h in Bob's track builder. I like your content, you pointed out a lot of bad things in the simracing space but this I can't understand. It's a 1min video showing upcoming track, Iracing does the same thing for the smallest and most underground content like small oval track in shitsville that's familiar to 0.1% of players.

This game and company is a joke, it’s just a money grab, they’re trying to cash in on the popularity of sim racing and “esports” but fail to realize the damage they’ve done being so “exclusive”. If their product was any good it’d be worth the hype, but I seriously doubt they’ll even come close to existing titles in terms of quality and player base. They’re marketing themselves to hard core sim racers but they just give keys to KZbinrs and pro sim drivers and run their “esports” league for everyone to see but not to try. A joke. I hope this project flops and burns as a lesson to any other company that tries to generate exclusivity and prestige with no history or product to show for it.

yeah, and it's not even a racing game yet, much less something that can be used for esports... in the last few races, there was a big crash at spa and the guy that was supposed to have a really damaged car was able to keep a stable 7 second gap to the leader for the whole 8 laps of the race... how ESL is using this kind of crap for official lan events is beyond my understanding... i don't even understand where the money to fund this nonsense comes!@@fervunk1143

This game will fail along every other game that tried to come and claim to be the next best thing with nothing to show for it. These people announce things as if it’s released, a joke honestly. They only care about their media exposure and the ad revenue. This game will flop and burn. I can guarantee this game will not look like this or perform at this level. All the gameplay has been so mediocre and disappointing, not even the pros racing it want to play it lmao

This got to be project cars, not rensport. Stop releasing trailers that are not from your game. It makes you look bad. The Sim racing community does not work like the forza and gran Turismo communitiea.
