As British guy who lives around London, when you questioned those place names I became the "you just insulted my entire race ... but yes" guy. All those places are, indeed, real, and they're not even close to the silliest or rudest place names in the UK.

I worked literally 30 seconds north or your initial placement in the centre of the triangle of roads - the road network is remarkably realistic. Fun fact - your initial placement is next to the new Sky Media centre

"these surely arn't real places". as someone who works just north of your depo at the sky studio i can confirm we do exist. also the industrial centre is actually the sky studios, bbc studios, nad elstree studios for film and tv.

Chipping Barnet or High Barnet is a suburban market town in north London, forming part of the London Borough of Barnet, England. Borehamwood is to the east and Potters Bar is to the North, as per the map.... these are real places, but I am glad U didn`t take Cockermouth as a starting city ;) Thx for the video, it is a game worth checking.

I feel like they could integrate this game into real life gameplay. Once you've built your route, they take you out there, stick you in a bus and make you drive it. If you can complete it you get a small medal and a piece of cake, well done. If you can't, if you get caught at a turn that's illegal or you realised you've set yourself up for a u-turn on a tiny road, then they take you out back, shoot you and give your bus pass to the next person. I think it could be fun.

Hail to North Londons new bus manager.... Bless all who wait in lovely queues for her... Think i'm gonna set up in my old haunts and run routes from my youth. Thanks for the recommendation.

You know, you got the Tonka trucks in the sandbox right? Digging up sand and you might have a cup of water, and you start your stream. You know, set up a Lego city or something in your backyard right? I know what you like. And I know.. don't worry, you'll finally get the dream game you always needed! You'll finally get that itch scratched once and for all. go back to the basics with Open TTD again? see if you missed anything? Start back when you were a kid, and you only had one truck and one house or something like that

Electricity production increases/decreases according to the time of the day. Buses get delayed by heavy boarding/alighting and traffic lights.
